And yes, I think you should do an RGB-inspired appartement. I actually learned something about colours in this one, happy to be educated on this by you😅 (If you want it, of course)
The black accents do a wonderful job of making the CMY colours feel balanced instead of overly bright - I also love how you research the concepts beforehand and teach us viewers in the process! ❤
I can't help but think you accidentally decorated a perfect apartment for the Behr sisters with this one! I'm also blown away by how fun and cozy and not-overwhelming this apartment turned out, even with SO MUCH bright color happening everywhere- you really do have a fantastic knack for making colors work!
I suggested this and I am THRILLED with how it came out! It's hard working with just very saturated colors but you made it feel so intentional and artsy. I feel like the sims was made for this
I LOVE this! The colours are so bright but they really work. You’re right about how the black breaks things up really well. With spooky season coming up, I feel like a build with a limited orange, purple, and green colour scheme would look so cool!
I love that you made this apartment!! I remember when you were doing builds for certain professions and i recommended doing a graphic designer so im glad it actually happened :DD
CMYK has a special hatred in my heart. In college, they taught us CYMK meant was cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, but when I got to work they told us it was cyan magenta, yellow, and KEY. 🤦 I'd been lied to my whole college career. Of course, in actual printing, the key table should be black, but when it came to the acronym, the correct answer was key and not black. Since I worked at an apparel printing company, that's probably why they emphasized the difference. Thankfully, that was the only thing that didn't prepare me for life after college. 😆 Anyways, rant over, cute build ❤
The jewel tones would be a great next addition in the color series, especially in an art deco style. Lately, I've also been really into terra cotta and dark green with gold accents
This turned out so cute! And I think an RGB colour scheme could look cute if two of the colours were the focus and the other was more of an accent. By which I mean either red and blue, or blue and green were the focus. Red and green would just look christmassy. Or light traffic lights 😹 I also had one of those wallpaper borders growing up, but in Australia (or at least where I live in Australia) it was common to have it in the middle of the wall. The top half of my room was pink and the bottom half was purple, divided by one of those iconic Groovy Chick borders with metallic silver trim that was so reflective that when the light shone on it it was kind of painful to look at. Pretty nifty way to cover up any messy line work if you paint job wasn't perfect, but a real pain to stick on straight without the top of the wall/architraves to help out. I believe we used a spirit level and even then it was a bit off and bubbly here and there. I adored it nevertheless!
Loooooove this build and I really hope u do the RGB or a primary color build in the future! also what mod lets you layer windows like those big square ones in the living room? My game starts visually glitching out (but maybe it's because my graphic settings are low idk)
i feel like RGB would be really difficult, but maybe a fun challenge. CMYK has black that makes it less intensely colorful and eye straining, but RGB... not so much. maybe you could pick a neutral swatch to carry throughout so it isn't so hard to look at?
You could do secondary colours? Grren, purple and orange? Or opposite colours? Like yellow and purple blue and orange ou red and green (lol maybe a theme for the upcoming xmas season ?)
have you done a fully black and white one with maybe a pop of one other color if you wanted to break it up edit: you’re talking about wallpaper boarders!!! they do still sell these lol

Wow, great job! I think a jewel-toned apartment would be gorgeous.

I really love the colors! I think you should try to do a Frutiger Aero themed apartment sometime
Love the colour combination!❤
Thank you! It was a fun one to work with!
Please do some fall or spooky builds, I love builds for supernatural sims 🖤🖤
I always do tons of them in October!
It would be cool to see a red, white, black, and yellow themed apartment!
(RWBY reference lol)
I love that you made this apartment!! I remember when you were doing builds for certain professions and i recommended doing a graphic designer so im glad it actually happened :DD

I love this - the black accents work perfectly with the vibrant colours!!
This is sooooo good, I love how you made the bright colors work!

wait i'm obsessed omg. I didn't even know i liked this color combo
I'm not even a colour-person, especially colours THAT vibrant, but damn, this is amazing ❤😍
If you’re looking for another color scheme-theme series idea maybe do complementary colors? With flexibility for tone/saturation shifts?
ssooo so obsessed with this oommgg like this is everything 😫💕💕💕
Violet+Green+Black is a perfect combination.
From the thumbnail, I already knew this build would be cute.
very cute - love this colour scheme

I love this! I realized I used this combo so often in my own builds too!

Would love a gamer themed RGB apartment!
this is so impressive! your background in graphic design really came through. please do RGB!
I LOVE how vibrant this is! But also it hurts my eyes just a bit xD
Loving this!
This was a really cool colour theme to see! I’d still love to see one that’s either citrus or maybe sunset colours?
I definitely wanna try this 😊

Would you consider doing apartments inspired by art movements or design movements? I.e a pop art inspired apartment or a renaissance inspired one?
