I have to agree. This has more character about how he is playful, yet still serious.
His themes are meant to symbolize his character, with each progressing one symbolizing how mad he’s become

Especially the part from 0:57 with the playful part of the Marimba/Xylophone followed by the violins.

EDIT: After playing Indigo Disk, Carmine has grown on me like a lot

Kieran is gonna be the quiet kid in the dlc and try his best to get Terapagos or the supposed Dokutaru to kill us and his classmates
Ogerpon should be on Kieran's Side than us the Protagonists...
But like as Telltale Game, they don't give us a Choice :/
The problem with Kieran was that he was obsessed with Ogerpon and acted as if he was entitled to her, borderline possessive of her even and refused to acknowledge the truth when things didnt go his way. The game even acknowledges this and its the point of his arc throughout both parts of the DLC when he tries to obtain terapagos for himself. His resentment against the player is understandable but his actions arent. Its what makes him a great antagonist.

I really hope after the indigo disk we can rematch him and hear this theme once again

We surely gonna see him again. The little final scene with Kieran showing thirst of revenge against us is a sufficient hint for me.

we probably will rematch him but they probably wouldnt use this music since they made the more intense version

Oh my gosh FINALLY! They finally did a rival theme that sounds like the theme of a RIVAL, not some friendly person who just battles you a lot (gives Nemona AND her theme a very pointed side-eye)
When you compare his older Themes.... It turned from a Friendly Battle Theme into a Serious Battle Theme :0

Well, a Friend of mine helped me (Though I won't be allowed to share it anyways)
Kieran is me after my friend got my favorite pokemon shiny and it has a mark and when I got mine it didn’t have a mark
Kinda the same Situation like my BFF and myself, haha
