I have a system still ready to turn on in my cupboard (technically a retro system now) , only stopped using it in Dec , It was a sparkle 2GB 650ti version, got it for £62 quid new in a store clearance on Amazon because the box was dunted in the corner . the little 650 ti was paired with an OC Q6700 they ran everyday at least 12 to 14 hours with no issues. From win 7 , then win 10 , 2015 through to Dec 2022 .
I used an 860m laptop (Gigabyte p34g v2) for 7 years. It served me well. In CS:GO was great, even Fortnite (on lower settings) was smooth. It served me very well. Not good at all by todays standards, but, I used it through 2021. Very similar to this 650ti.

Not everyone has $2000 to drop into a GPU. I paid $500 for a 3070 TI when it came out and it just so happens that Amazon screwed up and sent me 2 cards by mistake. I even asked them if I needed to send the other back but they kept insisting they only sent one card. So, my brother who was struggling at the time due to the birth of his 2nd child, got a free GPU that year! youll be lucky to know nvidia surprisingly updated the drivers like a month ago for kepler.Before then it was like a year and a half.For the PSU they have different versions for the 650ti.I have 2 versions.One is a 2gb model which requires no 6 pin and the other is a 1gb model OC that requires a 6 pin.I will gradually send you my old RX 570 if it supports an 8 pin or an rx 480 if it supports an 6 pin.Either one will tripple the performance of an gtx 650ti.I know I own all these cards.........I own a minimum 150 graphics cards.Just these 2 would do you justice. Just send me specs of the PSU snd Ill match ya.Ill match it free of charge.Sounds to be to good to be true for free but its not.Dont even send me a real address lol just tell me to send it somewhere.
i can play every game in this video (except for pubg, idk why) at a constant 60-100 fps on medium-high at 1080p-1440p settings. i play rainbow six siege at very high at 150-200fps on the RX 6400
@@stlrnt_what Actually yeah, 1050 ti could be a better option but the thing is that I have a i5-3470 which I have a strong feeling that it'd bottleneck it. And secondly, the price range at what the GTX 1050 Ti comes in used market is very close to the price of RX 570 6GB model. And GTX 750 ti 2gb costs half of what they both do. I'd definately try to raise my budget and get a better card or pc if possible.

@@kmhindigaming6703 trust me just get the best card u can. if ur going for a budget build, it doesn't matter if u bottleneck that much. btw i have the i5-6600 RX 6400 (which is like 50% better than the GTX 1050 Ti.) and it barely bottlenecks. unless you have a celeron CPU then it doesn't really matter if u bottleneck (again, on a budget build.) if you're going for a premium build though definitely try and go for parts that are good for each other. you're good bro, go ahead and pair the i5-3470 with the GTX 1050 ti. it'll be fine. also like the dude before me said. you won't regret it. even though the 750 ti seems like it performs good in this video, it doesn't mean it will perform as good for you. you're gonna want a card that is better than 750 ti regardless.

This card reminds me of my old Alienware laptop I used to play on years ago. It had a GT 750M, which was on par with a GTX 650/650ti in performance. Most games ran good, until around early 2016ish. I had to play Bo3 zombies at 50% res scale of 1366x768. It wasn't a pleasant picture to look at, that's all I'll say.

You should try using P106 again. The performance is now much better by using it as a GTX 1060 graphic accelerator with Nvidia Master Patcher compared to the old registry hack.

i had the GTX 645 OEM Dell, some specifications and performance is igualy. This was my first "gaming" GPU and help me a lot in 2020. Today a have the GTX 1050, this is a good ultra low cost GPU.
hey kryzzp! you can add some much older popular games like far cry etc instead of newer intensive ones like rdr2 or cyberpunk which is probably expected to be unplayable on these cards.

neat you mentioned battlefield 3 , i recall using a gtx 660 playing bf3 in story mode and seeing 107 fps average on msi afterburner with my i5 2500k system i was using with it , kepler was neat back then , i also recall the evga 650 ti models were the first gpus that popular standard small form factor the 750ti and 1050ti followed the same size and design minus the 6 pin of course lol

Nice video. I have a similar system with a GTX 970. I got a good performance increase with 2133mhz DDR3 and deep cool 120mm CPU cooler to increase the OC. I know you focus on GPU comparison but you may find it interesting to test with a little more "K".

Hmmm.... I'd probably go 2060 super because of the power consumption and DLSS. The 1080Ti is faster overall but turn on dlss and the 2060super is faster then
this was my first gpu i had a 650ti ssc 2gb it was awsome it lasted me till like 2017 my most memorable experince with it was getting through doom 2016 on it my hardware at the time was a amd a8 9600 8gb of ram 550 evga psu 1tb wd blue and a enermax ostrog case it was my first custom built gaming pc oh and dont forget the sony disk drive those were the days
I'm absolutely floored by this things performance! These are great cards if you have someone with a setup that is still running a older monitor that is VGA or something and not beey Large. I fired up fortnite on a 720p monitor and ran it native low settings with DX11 and it kept up at a decent 60fps. This was while using a gimped x4 870K CPU that is from the same era but not fast enough to push the card to 100% When I was a bit younger my aunt got my a GPU for my birthday. It was down to this card, the asus direct CU II or the power color HD 6970 2GB, from where they were similar on paper I went with the 6970 because it had the extra gig of vram. I still own that card and now have this one too. I don't think the 6970 can run everything that this card can run do to it missing some direct X instructions/ features. 😢
It's crazy that 1GB VRAM was the standard a decade ago, and now 4GB is the minimum you need to play most new games (but 6GB is probably better)

Got a 2GB version of this card. Days Gone with medium settings makes 30-40 FPS. That was a very good video card in his prime.

An OC-ed 650ti performs like the 750ti but it uses a lot more power and thus creates more heat and noise. But back then it was a really good offer!
