  • Upon leaving Great Zimbabwe I drove eastbound, towards the mountain range that separates Zimbabwe from Mozambique, crossing rivers, beautiful bridges and enjoying a different scenery. The Eastern Highlands seem to be out of another country. There's lots of water everywhere, waterfalls, rugged terrain and beautiful and, sometimes challenging, mountain roads. The destination was Chimanimani National Park, a trekkers paradise with cold temperatures, mountain wildlife a beautiful forests.

Beautiful Zimbabwe. Thank you for showing the top view of bridal veil falls. It had never been captured like that before.
    Tessa's pool is beautiful

There is a path that takes you all the way up to the top of the Brida Veil fall. It's an easy trek but it's kind of hidden in the bush. Yes, Tessa's pool is really beautiful. Thanks for watching

I'm enjoying this adventure. Pretty awesome to see Outward Bound. Took me down memory lane to my teenage years. Also, on farming, you should look up Zimbabwe's agricultural regions. The south with low rainfall is mostly cattle country, the east high rainfall is plantation country.

I'm glad that you liked it. Yes, you are right. I was surprised because I didn't see crops until I got to the Eastern Highlands, but that area is very fertile and they grow everything there. Good quality and reasonable prices make it the best place in the country to buy from Road Side markets. Thanks for watching.
