I learned more about Sanjay Dutt from watching this 30 minute interview than the 155 minutes biopic 'Sanju'!! Richa, Rhea, Trishala, Priya were ALL missing in the film! His wives! His daughter! His sister! Can you imagine?! These are such important relationships. Why were they ignored by Hirani like they did not exist? Wonder what his daughter feels about it. But rather than exposing his personal relationships, the movie’s intention was to shed light on his drug addiction and terror alignments he was accused of, which was so much needed. Someone like me would have never been able to see his side of his story until the movie. My respect towards Sanjay has increased tremendously after watching the movie. Sorry to say you are wrong. It says clearly in all promotions that Sanju is a 'biographical film'. Biography mean "a life story". You are not being true to his life if you delete important milestones. Marriage is a milestone. The birth of his daughter is important. What must she feel when she sees it? That she does not exist? From what I hear his wife Maanyata would not allow any other woman to be featured except herself & his mother.
Why make two films? If Simi could pack in everything in one hour - why could not Hirani? Instead of going on & on & on about drugs..& flowers..he should have completed his full story.

While it’s his destiny - to survive till the time he can - but watching this pristine interview- the title song from Zinda - plays in my head - if this guy overcomes or has a miraculous extended escape - he is hands down the most realistic real star - doesn’t asked to be praised - never has ! Wishing him a recovery to a point where he sees the teenage of his younger kids ! If death is the peace he is seeking than so be it ~ but let life be the gift he always seeks ! I feel he is very lucky... The kind of cases he was involved and they way he was dealing his life, if his father was not an influential person, if he was not rich, sanjay dutt would have been doomed. Imagine people out there with drug issues, who cant help themselves, who cant cope up and end up tragically... People who involve with dons and mafia, who end up in jails, no bails, no justice, for what they have done they spend rest of the life either in dark or in jail... Sanjay dutt is extremely lucky to have father like sunil dutt and such family.

Even though discipline is taught to kids in boarding school, they are left alone from their family , and Love is THE MOST important thing a child needs while growing up... ppl may disagree np, but tbh i think kids feel unwanted when parents decide to send them to boarding school. Even if they get independent and disciplined, they lose their trust in ppl and life 😒

In 1993 there were 12 bomb blasts in Mumbai and 500-600 people lost their lives. Sanjay’s abandoned car was found at one of these blast sites and was full of weapons. In India no civilians can get these assault weapons. Therefore they started investigating him. I was a small girl that time but I remember that day like yesterday! Everyone wanted to punish terrorists behind that attack. I don’t know if he is victim or culprit but he definitely got involved with wrong people. Either way it’s Sad for him and his family, and people who got killed in 1993.
i wonder how is sanjay dutt controlling himself from not breaking down during this interview. if not anything just one thing to learn from him is to stay strong in any bad situation in life.

I agree. Sanjay only mistake was he didn’t maintain discrete privacy in the face of media. The other actors who intakes drugs are all well known by managers and family and they let them do in privacy.
I’ve never really been a big fan of Sanju dad mr Sunil Dutt but over the years and little bit of research I’ve noticed not a single person I’ve come across has had anything bad to say about mr Sunil Dutt not one person and when I looked into it more I realised he was a great human being aswell so as the saying goes don’t judge a book by its cover. It reminds me of my dad god bless his soul straight as an arrow no lying no cheating or anything else that could hurt or upset someone really my father and mr Sunil Dutt were really great people who come along every now and then.

I must say this interview is way better than "sanju" as it covers all aspects of his life really hope and wish that someone should make a proper biopic on Sunil Dutt Ji he went through a LOT his journey from a refugee to a top actor to a great social worker/politician to cabinet minister is so inspiring and who can forget the way he stayed by his wife's side while she was in coma and his social work in her memory. Sunil Dutt ji suffered more than Sanjay actually. Having said that I'm confused at 11:29 about the age as according to wikipedia Sanjay was born in 1959 and richa was diagnosed with brain cancer after Trishala was born which was 1988 then how can sanjay be 24 then? he was around 29 and in 1996 above 35 when richa died kind of confused here 🤔.

While it’s his destiny - to survive till the time he can - but watching this pristine interview- the title song from Zinda - plays in my head - if this guy overcomes or has a miraculous extended escape - he is hands down the most realistic real star - doesn’t asked to be praised - never has ! Wishing him a recovery to a point where he sees the teenage of his younger kids ! If death is the peace he is seeking than so be it ~ but let life be the gift he always seeks ! I feel he is very lucky... The kind of cases he was involved and they way he was dealing his life, if his father was not an influential person, if he was not rich, sanjay dutt would have been doomed. Imagine people out there with drug issues, who cant help themselves, who cant cope up and end up tragically... People who involve with dons and mafia, who end up in jails, no bails, no justice, for what they have done they spend rest of the life either in dark or in jail... Sanjay dutt is extremely lucky to have father like sunil dutt and such family.

Life being very tough for him . His life story is an inspiration of every age person. It teaches and also inspires us to live a life even after facing any type of failure , loss or tragedy.

ppl may disagree np, but tbh i think kids feel unwanted when parents decide to send them to boarding school. Even if they get independent and disciplined, they lose their trust in ppl and life 😒

He went thru a lot in one life time. but how he continued to be a start of life is beyond words..
In 1993 there were 12 bomb blasts in Mumbai and 500-600 people lost their lives. Sanjay’s abandoned car was found at one of these blast sites and was full of weapons. In India no civilians can get these assault weapons. Therefore they started investigating him.
I was a small girl that time but I remember that day like yesterday! Everyone wanted to punish terrorists behind that attack. I don’t know if he is victim or culprit but he definitely got involved with wrong people. Either way it’s Sad for him and his family, and people who got killed in 1993.
i wonder how is sanjay dutt controlling himself from not breaking down during this interview. if not anything just one thing to learn from him is to stay strong in any bad situation in life.

I’ve never really been a big fan of Sanju dad mr Sunil Dutt but over the years and little bit of research I’ve noticed not a single person I’ve come across has had anything bad to say about mr Sunil Dutt not one person and when I looked into it more I realised he was a great human being aswell so as the saying goes don’t judge a book by its cover.
It reminds me of my dad god bless his soul straight as an arrow no lying no cheating or anything else that could hurt or upset someone really my father and mr Sunil Dutt were really great people who come along every now and then.
The best man in the industry was Mr Sunil Dutt .

How can person be so strong..I have some troubles and I am broken
I must say this interview is way better than "sanju" as it covers all aspects of his life really hope and wish that someone should make a proper biopic on Sunil Dutt Ji he went through a LOT his journey from a refugee to a top actor to a great social worker/politician to cabinet minister is so inspiring and who can forget the way he stayed by his wife's side while she was in coma and his social work in her memory. Sunil Dutt ji suffered more than Sanjay actually.
Having said that I'm confused at 11:29 about the age as according to wikipedia Sanjay was born in 1959 and richa was diagnosed with brain cancer after Trishala was born which was 1988 then how can sanjay be 24 then? he was around 29 and in 1996 above 35 when richa died kind of confused here 🤔.
Sir you should speak about your experiences in South Africa especially high school you are truly a remarkable individual that has come out stronger.
