this is actually really cool, i was too absorbed in the break meta to remember how good dissociation was. i happened to get silent hunter on a cirrus run completely unintentionally, quickly saw how good it was, haha
About Silent Hunter: - It prevents the enemy in Dissociation state from taking dmg (yes, ALL kind of dmg), and instead absorbing them, but only Crit hits and Break hits is absorbed (Big shinny number). That mean you need a good crit/break dps or most dmg will be wasted. - But the absorption has a cap of 50% enemy's max HP, you can see the % above the enemy's head. If it reaches the cap (100%), the dissociation will dispelled immediately - When the Dissociation dispelled, it will explode and deal dmg to all enemy, base on the amount of dmg it absorbed. The dmg is treated as a Crit hit, which can be absorbed by the other. That's why it can cause chain explosion when there're a bunch of small enemies So, Remembrance is still good (broken actually), but it requires more things than in SU mode - Need a decent build crit/break dps (at least make sure that the dps can crit all hit) - Need a way to freeze and dissociate multiple enemies. Absorb the explosion to cause another explosion is better than just taking the dmg (except for boss lol). For this one you can use equation and blessing instead. - Phantom worker can greatly reduce effect res, you should get that equation For boss, Cirrus is the easiest because they're just normal and elite enemies, that has low frozen res. Argenti and True sting is medium, you can make explosion from small enemies to kill the main boss. SAM is the hardest because it only spawns 2 enemies per wave, and has the highest effect res (?) among them
@@ElementWizard_HSR SAM was created specifically for E2 IL havers and it isn't even subtle. At v8 it expects you to consume 5sp in like 30 action value. I honestly have no clue how you'd beat them with any other setup.
25:57 the equation has a cap of about ~800k, when the cap is reached the explosion occurs instantly. the progress of filling up to the cap is shown above the enemy's head as a percentage, accumulates if critical attacks are carried out (if I do not confuse anything, then all attacks will be critical for the enemy under dissociation). It also accumulates from the explosion of other enemies, which is why a chain reaction occurs
The cap is 50% of the enemy max HP. And it absorb break and crit hit only (big shinny number, crit DoT from Sin Thirster equation also count). The explosion dmg is treated as a crit dmg, so it causes chain explosion
I managed to get through with your squad! Only instead of the main character, I took a Cheetah, all the characters were trial, and I did several repetitions until I knocked it out: 0:40
For which bosses Silent Hunter teams good against, from my own expreience Sam, The Past, Present, and Eternal Show, an Swarm are almost instant losses, they have insane effect res and it's near impossible to apply freeze and dissasotiation to them. Argenti is okay but Cirrus is the optimal one for this archetpye. (I miht have skill issue tho, i'm speaking from my experience)
I am still unclear as to why you would run Remembrance. (I struggle Simulated Universe and Divergent Universe, please spare my dumbfounded nature.) Can you enlighten me a bit and elaborate? Please and thank you.
@@bl4nketcat remembrance is one the only paths where you dont really need a dps ever. Dissociation (a debuff from remembrance) does % max health damage. So you basically just end up abusing that. Freeze also helps survivability (less actions for enemies)
I'm pretty sure i missed like a 1* blessing that reduces enemy freeze resistance. This one is pretty important. I also missed a 3* preservation that adds more shields.
You can no longer start with that equation. Not all the 2* equations are in the starting pool and since the 2.5 DU expansion you cant start with that equation

Ngl you can use a super break team with asta, xueyi, hmc and Gallagher now that Gallaghers been free for 2-3 events and make this quite a bit easier
That team may struggle with sustain. Gallagher is pretty good on that part but not sure if its enough for ordinary protocol 6
