In Zabbix 6.0.13 it doesn't work. Close problem is still greyed out when we do any action with problem before editing template. If we edit template earlier we can change problem to state close.

@@knightwolf8877 so i think the suppress option is not available in this manner in older versions of zabbix. I can tell you in Zabbix 6.2 the suppression option is available as expected.
@@VideOhMonster I have the lastest zabbix in and I'm struggling with templates and having fully divided templates so I can turn off or suppress while groups of triggers. For msp style monitoring

Not necessarily. If manual close is already enabled then access to template is not required
