This makes me realize that most of those “embedded agents” mentioned in Foundation articles are likely short-term hirees from a particular project, who were then allowed to return to their normal jobs ; with the caveat that they 1) routinely check in to recertify their security clearance & NDAs, and 2) receive occasional training to keep them up-to-date on de-facto “field agent” work (ie in case they find an anomaly during their civilian life). Kinda reminds me American National Guard Reserve recruits. :o
The problem is anyone applying to the SCP foundation directly has already breached the secrecy of the foundation somehow to know it exists. So they are part of a diffrent GOI and looking to defect or are some kind of anomaly that should be contained or are themselves a threat to normalcy with their knowledge. Hiring someone like that would necessitate hiring another person or team just to watch them. It might be a better containment procedure then locking then in a room, like if the foundation is desperate, but that is not really applying for a job.
If someone was aware of a foundation site and interested in joining they could try, but it would be a long-shot, as the very fact that you do know is a breach in their security and would make them suspicious of your motives/loyalties. But they could probably try, and if truly exceptional, I could see the rare agent being recruited this way. I’d presume the best method’d be to bring their (suitably impressive) resume and apply to whatever front company the Foundation uses to explain the local site and, while there, make it clear to the interviewer that they have special expertise and may or may not be aware of the foundation. This will probably lead to you being administered a low-strength amnestic, having your case put up for expedited review, and, if you pass the normal vetting process, *only then* getting to have the interview associated with your irregular “application” and briefed on what you forgot.

First off how can anyone watch one of these videos all the way through and not like it? Like these videos are lore heavy, well produced, and entertaining. So how do you watch it then go “nah it’s not for me,”?!? Secondly I’d very much enjoy a position of on site agent or cafeteria worker at an SCP site. Because an agent has to have an “endlessly interesting” job and as for the cafeteria worker it’s like you said they have to be extremely well paid but don’t have to get into situations that are too risky?!?
All the scp story’s don’t have any people having full blown panic attacks like let’s face it we would all freak out if we find out 106 or 682 was at the site we where located at
I've been planning some SCPs and some characters for a while now. My main author avatar kinda character is a single mother from the Serpent's Hand who defects to the Foundation after her youngest son is killed by an anomaly, so she'd ask to join after reporting the anomaly to them. I'm still working on them but I was wondering whether that sounds like a suitable backstory? She's reasonably skilled enough to work as a researcher and has a biology degree. also has bird wings. I just like birds.

Also How Wouldnt They Get Noticed?
Still waiting for mtf organization video I really like first one on how the foundation is structured !
Hey. I’m Dr. Elbihah at the SCP foundation!
How to join the foundation? Simple! Just 2 easy steps!
1: exist
2: don’t be named Jeremiah Wuthers
Done!
Wait who is that? lol I'm guessing that's a memetic SCP?
Draconarious TheGamer he’s a guy from one of my personal favorite self-contained tales: www.scp-wiki.net/everyone-knows
3: Commit crimes and end up as a D-Class tomorrow! (For the rest of your life, or at least.)
Yes. gud reference.
The SCP foundation is probably the only way I’ll find bureaucracy interesting
Would love a job with SCP
Just wanted to remind you that clef and bright were smart enough that the scp foundation recruited them
I mean, it's a niche cannon that undid my point about it, but if you look at New Scape Pro's SCP series.. before Dr. Bright entered his current body and decided "everyone has to pay", I had a lot of respect for him in that story.
The Bright family had a history with the Foundation and Clef used to work for GOC so they probably thought he'd useful
60th like. 0 dislikes. Let this be a milestone, lol. Before the trolls find this and.. do as they do.
i thinks its bots rather than trolls.
1k likes and only 5 dislikes
@@coemcoem7070 still killing it. Usually 1k likes equals 25 to 50 dislikes
@@bleflar9183 probably. Wait... are there dislike bots? That sound evil af
What is the number of personel working for funadation?
If the foundation grants me immortality no need for food and other causing greed things will never ask for more. my loyalty my body my bones my skin and my soul are all yours LMAO
They will do that, just become an O5, it's that easy
Forbidden Knowledge
I would love to see a fully developed tv series about this. Sadly, I can't play the game due to motion sickness
Hold on the foundation PAYS it's employees!? I'm working with the wrong (redacted)...
It's easier to work for the foundation than to pay off student loans.
Cool video I want to leave the comment to show my appreciation and feed the YT Algorithm the true eldritch and scary ententes in our life
All the scp story’s don’t have any people having full blown panic attacks like let’s face it we would all freak out if we find out 106 or 682 was at the site we where located at
Please, Ask me who want's Job In Site-72.
if the foundation was real i'd love to work for them

Have you ever tried to help scp illistrated make a video on the prank war surrounding 050? We all could use a laugh in these trying times lol
Do you know dr. Sherman from site 42 you guys were used to work together correct.
Level 1 security pay is absolute shit unless you considered an extra $1.85/hr a big deal.
Now I wanna work there ;-; HOW THE HELL DO I WORK THERE?! :CCC
That sounds like suicide.
Im trying to get hired at a secret agency
I've been planning some SCPs and some characters for a while now. My main author avatar kinda character is a single mother from the Serpent's Hand who defects to the Foundation after her youngest son is killed by an anomaly, so she'd ask to join after reporting the anomaly to them. I'm still working on them but I was wondering whether that sounds like a suitable backstory? She's reasonably skilled enough to work as a researcher and has a biology degree. also has bird wings. I just like birds.
@@GanoFin sir, you exemplify why i would like to control the speed people die.
Wait, Cimmerian?
