I’m a technical founder with 25 years of programming experience. AI is an absolutely incredible tool. I use it everyday to help me develop applications. But as amazing as it is, we are no where near AI replacing a technical founder or senior developer. There is so much more involved in software development than just code! And even for code, we need a human to review all AI code for validity and accuracy. Which means you better understand what the AI wrote! Can you imagine the potential consequences of deploying AI code to production without an in depth knowledge of what the code does and how it works! Way too ri$ky. Hope these comments help entrepreneurs understand where we are with AI concerning application development. Ps. Thanks for the videos Heini, I have learned a lot from you 👍
Yes, I probably agree all around, but I think for certain stages of the Startup journey it could really change things. Like building the first MVP, it could fast track that build with limited technical knowledge. Then you build it properly later for scale. Thanks appreciate the kind words!
It's amazing. It's a developers new super power that we can simply outline an idea and get all the basics ready... Stitch it together - and try it out. If it works, then we can start building up the full thing and turn it into a business. It's like renting a car for a day where things might have been broken from another customer vs buying a finished product. It's not the same thing you are trying. But in terms of building MVP it's great!! It's speed!
@@RawStartup Just took it... Did the basics. Took it over to Claude... Basic MVP done in 10 hours. Yes I've built software for 15 years - but not done 200 hours work in 10 hours before :)
Simple answer : For now, creating a full-scale enterprise software with just AI and no knowledge of the basics of coding is like baking a cake without knowledge of the ingredients. AI can mix things, but it needs to follow some recipe
They never do. all of them are like this. never 100%. and you are requestion really simple app. one that you can do right now without AI or programmer. its a show off with the generated code flashing to get you exited

the issue will arise I think if the program gets complex and you need to maintain it

Can you still deploy with replit after developing?

Thanks! I wanted to take it all the way to full deployment and Replit can do that. However I just couldn't get it to work well enough for that.
