    Mostly looks good hit one thing is missing: the mud. Mudskippers really do need mud to do well long term, and to show their natural behaviour.

      Ideally a tidal Paludarium with mudflats in a 6 foot setup would be perfect for a Group.

    Can you get the sponge used from Bunnings?

    • @paulstingray
      @paulstingray  2 месяца назад +1

      I’ve never seen it there but any pond sponge would work if you can find it in different shapes and sizes

    Do I need to keep them in a group or can I get just one?

    • @paulstingray
      @paulstingray  17 дней назад +1

      They are social, but they are also territorial so sometimes it’s easier Just keeping one dependent on tank size. They’re not a schooling Fish but they do like to interact with each other if that makes sense.

      @@paulstingray The biggest tank I can get is 20 gallons long as a temporary tank until I save up for a bigger one (I’m a minor and I doubt my parents would help me get a bigger one right now, I do have a job though so I’ll definitely be saving up) so that’s why I was thinking of getting just one, would that be an okay size?

    I believe sand is not good for mudskippers, it can irritate their skin

    • @paulstingray
      @paulstingray  2 месяца назад +1

      They live on sand in the wild.
