All I do is work hard and fail. Some of us are just failures. Ill get past this and ill keep working hard. But I continue to fail. I lost a child after promising him that he would live. And we never got him out of that hospital. I was divorced shortly after that as my wife met someone else. I moved to a dump that I can barely afford. I do everything that I can for my other two children but I can't help but to think that they look at me as if im a failure. I pay $13,000 a year in child support and $400 a month in music lessons. This house is trash compared to their moms house. It's hard to work and fail and know that others watch. I used to be so positive, but now I am weak and any set back makes me pathetic. I just can't get back to the man I was before. Im sorry for all of you that are struggling and I promise ill stop feeling sorry for myself and I will keep going.

You made a stupid mistake to think the antonym of fail is a place of use when effort means attempt and attempt can fail. You aren’t at succeed, nor do you succeed. Why don’t you learn what FAIL means and then google the OPPOSITE of FAIL.

I was applying for DPS, I passed physical exam , polygraph , and background. I was very thrilled because I thought I would be ready for DPS Trooper Academy. Unfortunately I did not pass the medical / psychological evaluation. I was so close to accomplishing my dream but I know God has something for me or it wasn't my time. I always go back to this video whenever I fail at something or i'm feeling depressed.
Needed this one today I’ve accepted coming up short, never looked at as failure... but became stagnant. Get up and get after it... idk wtf I’m after but I’ll find it just by doing something

But my topic was just not creative enough. I didn't win any awards. It doesn't sound like a big deal but I really did work so hard on this and I can't even be satisfied with just the research process because the results showed inconclusive and the process was much more boring than I antiticipated.
The past does not equal the future, but it will if we live there. For whatever has happened in the past doesn't matter, because this moment is a fresh new opportunity.

BUT as I assertaned, the dead lion is also still meat, and not nearly fighting like the living dog, and thus... "not if you're hungry" because when I'm actually hungry, I'd rather not fight about it, but cook the damn meat and eat it... SO if you're hungry, a dead lion (in excess of 300 pounds) might actually beat the hell out of any live dog (in excess of 20 to 80 pounds)... TL ;DR : I'd vote we eat the fucking lion. ;o)

Point is we must take advantage of the life that we have to the fullest because once it's over there is no coming back to try to right our wrongs. Living dog is a figurative way of saying a unbeliever who is unrepentant that is alive. That person has the opportunity to seek God, have faith and be baptized in Christ and keep Gods commandments so that he might have eternal life.

SO maybe the shorter and more succinct wisdom is "Where there is life yet, there is also hope".... and I didn't need to peruse a big book to learn that one. It's fairly obvious. The eating the lion bit is also a worthy note of "learning when to lower your nose and eat" or suffer being too stupid to survive, AND... no survive... not getting smarter.
