That was pretty pretty awesome!! Looking for more of your vids man!! I have roots in the Tampa Bay Area, love fishing there! I'm also new to you channel and I'll be looking forward to viewing more of them!!
Thanks man. Used your code last week to buy the hard bottom one for SW FL. What are the differences between fracture, hard bottom and the other marks on the chart?
Thanks Man. So I think fracture means big rocks or ledge which is good for gags. There is flat hb which is probably smaller rocks which would be good for red grouper. Then they have mixed hard bottom which would be bigger rocks for grouper and red snapper. I’ll have to get a underwater drone one of these days or a deep water case for my GoPro to do more research out there
Just got the Strikelines Hard Bottom Chart for SWFL. Going to try fishing some of the ledges for Gags this Friday (9/23). How deep would you recommend fishing for Gags at this time of year? Thank you.
Hey Walter, I'm not exactly positive on the depth I would think 80-120 feet should have them. But also of course the 150+ depth range is gonna have them. They should be starting to come in shallower over the next few months.
Well with this chart it’s honestly cheating. It has what bottom it is and the exact area so you won’t be wasting much time. Before we just had waypoints and would have to spend lots of time researching it took years to get our collection of proven spots.
@@groupermvp thanks for the response. What areas does it cover. I'm on the east coast of FL but if I had west coast numbers I'd come fish there once in a while.
@@brad265 so this chart covers the Tampa bay region. But there is also a south version for fort myers, and one for big bend area. They also have 3d charts I’m pretty sure for the east coast.
@@brad265 they have a version for garmin but you don’t get as much stuff as u would with Simrad. Garmin doesn’t like other companies making charts for them because garmin makes their own i think

What gear did you use to land those big grouper?
In my last RUclips video I show the gear and rig we use. But it’s avet hx raptor with 80 pound braid, 80 pound top shot, and 80-100 pound leader.
Sorrry man. Not sure how I missed it but I’ll go back and check it out. Thanks.
With so many spots how do you decide which one to try and not waste time?

What kind of camera are you using? The reviews I’m seeing for GoPro make me not want to buy one..
This is a GoPro hero 8.
@@groupermvp 10-4 guess that means you like it, reviews are very deceiving
@@Gabucks1 I personally have never had any issues with it and works great for me. I think sometimes when u record in 4k it can overheat sometimes.
@@groupermvp thanks for the info brother 👊
