Do you live in a lead paint & asbestos filled house with rusted cast-iron plumbing, no modern design aspects, and cramped useless rooms with improper lighting?
@@qunningStunts Yes, I do. And I love it, and it’s historical character!!! But, since you DID decide to tear this house down, why didn’t you repurpose more of the materials rather than contribute more waste to landfills? So much could’ve been salvaged AND contributed to Habitat for Humanity and/or other groups.
Grandma disclosed that we were going to inherit her home when she passed . It had a beautiful lot, not too big plenty of trees and we decided to build a bit bigger house on the lot and had the old house torn down. The jury said we should have waited until grandma moved out or moved on....out in 5 to 5 years with good behavior.
Lots of homes like this one are demolished for a number of reasons. It may have looked nice on the outside but on the inside, these homes once housed drug users or possibly a serial killer. I've seen a house destroyed before because the owner committed suicide and the family couldn't bear the sight of it any longer.
What good does this do when it sits in the landfill? NOTHING. In fact, it negatively impacts the environment. What good does it do still sounding? Provides a home, holds somebody's precious memories, holds past spent energy, holds materials that we struggle to find today yet are wasted like this...I could go on and on. This is disgusting.
I cannot understand why a person wants to destroy a pretty home like this one was. Now it is just a pile of splintery timber. I would like to see how it feels for the excavator driver to have his house reduced to splinters. I say pox on the owner of this property.
How sad. If this house could talk. I wonder what stories it could tell about the families that have lived there. The birth of the home and it's death. The first wife to walk into it, And the first baby to come home to it. I see the white picket fence at the end.
Why is it that hardly anyone explains WHY these houses are torn down in these videos? In this case, it looks like a nice house, I wonder why someone would want it demolished?
There are many reasons a house needs to come down and although I will agree this is a waste, the fact of the matter is in the Richmond VA area the young people want new and bigger. They are flush with cash or borrowed money and its more cost effective to just tear down small houses like this. I could live in a house like that....... but not the younger generation and unless your going to buy it, I dont think you can complain.
It's true. They're built with cheap materials and begin seeing structural problems early on. I work in residential construction. It's all very shoddy. And then charge $300k
I wonder if all the people bitchen about a house going to waste when "someone could have lived there" has ever traded a car in? After all, Someone who cant afford a car needs one. Why should every thing you work for have to be given to someone else? If you own it, You get to decide what happens to it.
Why was it being demolished? It looked good (from the outside). Why not just go balls deep and swipe the bucket from one side to the next; from top to bottom? It's only two stories...
There are many reasons a house needs to be demolished it's unsafe to live in, it's in a bad flood zone, fire damage ect. It's sad to see a home destroyed because all your memories are there no one wants to see a house go but sometimes it's for the better who knows maybe a new home will go in it's place or some plants and grass will go there
I enjoy watching your videos keep making great videos I like your videos keep making great videos
What a waste of a perfectly fine house
I hate this SO much, that house was beautiful. It was charming and had character..

qunningStunts asbestos.... and then deconstruction without masks and careless like that?
qunningStunts I prefer antiques

Did not even salvage the front storm door or the front door - items that can easily be saved, repurposed/recycled.

Ha ha..
Seriously? And you mean to tell me you aren't appearing as a guest on The Tonight Show with that sense of humor?
Safety comes first while performing any task. Very well demonstrated video showing proper precautions taken while #demolishing a #building.
From cute small house to splintered debris in minutes.
The door was locked and nobody could find key?
Yes, it must have been so. Good solution they did.
They're looking for the key ;-)

It was taken down for new construction going in.
Cab door open, no operator mask, no dust-damping water being used: Amateur Hour.

You don't exacting know if really went to a land fill it may have been recycled
Jguy365 they could of moved it to another spot for some young family

This is no huge loss, the house next door is the same design. But still a lot of materials were wasted.
Antiques r better than modern
Damn! That house was beautiful! 😟💔💔
that house was in great shape-wtf
I didn't see any insulation, vapor barrier, or HVAC ducting. Would cost a fortune to heat and cool this old house.

you don't sell the aluminum siding?
it would cost more to remove it than you'd get in scrap value

Could've been inhabital inside
Still tho
Most people do this because they want a bigger, newer house. It's all about perceived status. Consumerism is really gross
@@kelliskinner1929 Absolutely
This guy don't messesaeound, fuckicking a king on the excavator
the excavator isn't really that small it is a little but it still did the job so cool
wow good video

They need some go pros INSIDE the house so we can see from the inside!
Good quick operator no mucking around

Why.... ??
those windows looked reusable
The windows, the siding, the mailbox, the door...and I'm sure there was lots of reusable stuff on the inside, too. This is sickening.
Luxury Life Atlanta Company Post windows front railing doors list goes on and on
Das Haus würde mir gefallen sieht doch noch gut aus. Schade drum.
If he thorns down that house and later it thorns down the other house too. The person reacts 😱😱😱
There is mail still in the mailbox.I guess those bills are not getting paid.
No basement ?

Fast food - fast housing! typical american, those buildings are not made for generations!
Those houses were built in the 60s...your sarcasm is a failure.
qunningStunts I love the 1960s I love old houses
I wish you and your buddy could have kept the praddle out of the audio.
Ah the US paper houses.
Do don't know that the house was dangerous inside so shut it
Probably so some ugly as fuck McMansion could be built.
