JT has long been my favorite athlete in any sport in the entire world. I am so happy for him and all his successes - and especially for him and Tarjei both these past 2 years! In the Beijing '22 Olympics, JTB and Tarjei won 25% of all the medals Norway took home from Beijing (and Norway was #1 in the medal count) No exaggeration, the Bø brothers won 25% of their nation's medals that Olympics. The following WC season, JTB won more races than anyone in history and won every Sprint race, a feat never before accomplished. The next _insane_ season, JTB won individual19 races, including 7 medals from 7 races at the World Championships, five of those being Gold. And then there is this past season where Johannes took the overall Crystal Globe for the 5th time and brought his total number of individual races won to 85. *UNREAL.* Ole Einar is correct in predicting that JTB will surpass his own impossible record of individual race victories (95) by the Olympics in 2026.
Finally, there is the most amazing statistic of all (in my opinion): in all of the individual races in which JTB has competed for the World Cup, he has made it onto the podium 50% of the time. 50-freaking-percent!! And he has *_won_* 30% of them. Neither Bjørndalen or Fourcade can say that. No one else can say that. It is out of this world.
