amzn.to/3y61sei - You can get these round bracelets that match the larger sized ring I used. (2.75" diameter). I ordered a set and they're perfect!

Thanks for sharing. I've been doing this for years with elastic bands. I've upgraded to bracelets and earrings recently. I've created various looks. The elastics can shorten clothes much better and you can place several of them all over.
      Great ideas. Blessings

@@mariamendoza1588 I would use bangles. Those clang-y things you slide on and off your arm. I think she said she uses metal, but you can use wood or sturdy plastic, as well. And then elastic hair ties.

My pastor's wife widens a shirt by turning the shirt upside down, then putting your elbows inside of the shirt down to where your arms would go through and then stretches it out, and she does that a couple times.
Also, do not dry the shirt that you need to widen in the dryer, ever.
      The dryer can shrink clothing.

For the first hack, that is super cool.
In the 80's, they had these things that looks like a bracelet but except for it had a bar through the middle that went from one side of the ring to the other, and we used to wear them on our t-shirts as an alternative to tying up a knot in the t-shirt.
    They were super cool!
I don't even know if those ring things had a name to them, but I sure do miss them.
These days we could definitely use them to make our clothing more modest yet srylish.

Girl I really love how that changed the green skirt, I’ve got several long dresses that I’ve YET to hem lol that this would work well for! I also love your modest style! Ladies remember all things of value are hidden deep in the earth, rubies, gold, silver, and diamonds are hidden deep in the earth! We are more valuable than those items. Look, it took me many years to learn this BUT men don’t need any help, they don’t need us going around dressing half covered and flaunting our bodies! That’s for our husbands and only our husbands. If you want to attract a man that’s serious then attract one that appreciates modesty. If he’s attracted to sleazy styled women, most likely, the man will always be attracted and drawn to that. These men usually cheat and are superficial by nature. JS so girl, keep up the great work! You’re a beautiful young lady and I appreciate your modest attributes…. After commenting, I go to your channel and discover the name!!! lol keep it up girl, we need this for todays women

That is a very great idea, especially for a quick fix. I went to my brother's funeral out of state a couple of years ago and took along a skirt and sweater I hadn't worn for awhile. Since I had lost some weight, I didn't take into account how they would fit. I ended up using a hair tie to knot the sweater at the side to keep it from looking like I was wearing a burlap bag. It worked very well. Your idea is so much better looking, and looks like the garment was meant to have that feature. Well done on the idea and a great job demonstrating!

Wonderful use of everyday items! Have you tried using them on the front of tops? Some tops are boxy or without darts and placing a ring on center breastbone slightly higher than bust OR slightly below bust, to create a more feminine shape? Perhaps repurposing the rings from keychains is right size?

Thanks for sharing. I have a dress that is too long and I was going to have it hemmed. I will try the earring and hair tie method first. Besides it’s less cost to do it that way.

I’m glad I ran across your channel! What a great idea! I do something similar with just a rubber band, but this idea is better. Can’t wait to try out.

I wear rings on my dresses but i like them on the outside of the dress it looks so good that way try it the hair elastic on the outside of the dress makes for a beautiful look like a pleated look.
