click Screen options in the upper right corner of the screen. In the section Show advanced menu properties, select CSS classes

Hey Tyler! Great video series... quick question though. When I click Menu Name items I don't get that fly out that has as many options as yours (not getting the CSS Clases area for example). All mine allows me to edit is "Navigation Label" - any ideas why I don't have those extras?

found a solution. In your WP ADMIN go to the Appearance - Menus. There is an option at the top right of the screen called "screen options", where you need to check the "CSS Classes" (and any other options you might need).
      It will work afterwards. :-)

Hi Tyler I am having the same problem as @Desktop Gremlins, the free version of ocean WP has the custom CSS fly out window disabled. Is there something we're missing?

@@stepanfau6480 It worked showing the CSS, but the "btn" didn't make it anything like a button, just a darker text, any way around this? Doing this for Top bar menu not header menu
