This drone is meh for many robots including shell too, despite having multiple physical shields. The Aegis shield provided by the drone gets destroyed quickly and the last perk of Wave is completely wasted due to shell being a ground bot. I’d rather use armadillo with this thing which would provide much better performance, but hey this video is all about the looks and not performance lol

@@fluufy9765 Like Nessa for Raven, it could be a trade off pilot that brings back new shields after they have all been destroyed, but Shell has 15% less HP. I don't want it but hey, it wouldn't be OP like Rook once was.
Now I'm thinking of Hawk in RED: 2 Ecu, 2 of those OP weapons to help it out, and the drone. It may get fast demolished but you could include more games and maybe speed up the parts that aren't about the build to save space.
Yeah that drone is definitely not suited to the Shell and for numerous reasons. It still performed well though but pilot skill was the deciding factor there I think. You have to know when to retreat with any bot and live to fight on. Many players don't play that way. The longer you can keep each bot in the fight the better your teams chances of winning.
Aygir! Could you run the shell again but this time with the improved freezing rockets, freezo drone, and the thomas pilot that add the suppression effect to the shells ability? This set up would be awesome because of the fact that the freezo drone grants defense points when you supress and freeze other robots, plus the drone also grants a speed boost!
Hey AYGIR I have an idea, if you want to make the 4th drone perk useful you can just download hack and make your shell fly 🗣️🗣️ So it will get you extra speed LMAOO

Like you mentioned, Wave is not a good drone on anything except Condor. And even then, I think I'd prefer to have Pascal on my Condor since its grey healing capabilities pair nicely with Condor's healing. Recently there's been a trend of Pixonic making drones hyper specialized for their robot in specific (Freezo only working on Pathfinder, Qingting being too niche to be remotely usable, Hawkeye only fully working on Raptor, etc.) and I don't like it.
@@Youonyouon Hawkeye thankfully has a few uses on bots other than Raptor. Freezo and Qingting aren't good in anything but their respective bots though.
@@ghathn nah bruh, the freezo drone and rayker combo(with any freezing weapons of course) goes crazy. The Ult rayker is even better, and many of the robots with suppression can work with the drone too. As for qingting.... yeah, not a great drone in general, but it's still good, all you need is some lockdown weapons.

I won't deny that those drones work best with their respective robots, but the hawkeye works wonderfully with the harpy and siren.
