I don't make out why they take that much time to turn. They hesitate or something like that?
Hate to disagree but I'm not that keen on this performance. She can't do trills so it sounds forced many times during the song like at 0:39, 0:45, 1:03 ect. ect. And she goes off key (or to a not-so-nice note) many times as well, especially during the middle 8. I think she has a pretty voice, I just don't think it's strong enough for a winner- even with extra training.
I don't understand why the judges take so much time to turn around this season, if you like a voice you turn around the second you hear it, you don't wait until the final. I mean, I feel like there's no emotion at all this season, the judges are so stiff =/ I really miss Jessie and Danny for this reason.
hell NO to Jessie J. she sucks as a coach. Danny is okay. i would have preferred if they removed Will instead, i hate his smug face and he sucks as a coach too
Eyem Esem You're out of your damn mind about Jessie J. Jessie J was a great judge and coach. The show has gone downhill since she and Danny left and more so because she is not there.

It's not the judges. The quality of singers this season hasn't been as high as the previous two seasons, in my opinion. Jessie J was always full of herself and wanted the attention to herself. I much prefer Kylie. I didn't mind Danny, but I didn't love him either.
I have heard the judges in many different countries say that that sometimes they just like to hear where the singer is going to take the song and are willing to wait til near the end before pushing their buttons for that reason; also, I think a lot of times it's strategy, waiting to see what the other judges will do. I like having Kiley on the show very much..glad they kept Sir Tom and Will :)

I can see her making it. Good voice, very attractive.
what do looks matter ?
Lily Adams Sadly they seem to matter a lot in todays society. I wish it weren't important, and a lot of us it isn't important, but the majority of the world see the stupid things like appearance important. (I'm not trying to bash one direction but) There are a lot of bands like One Direction that have gotten fame because of their looks, not to say that their voices aren't good, but they're look have a lot to do.
Lily Adams ofc she's really pretty and cute. but it's not just about that, it's about the whole energy of a person. her charisma is nice and sweet, really natural and you can hear it in her voice, and as well see it in the way she looks. that's why she's pretty. if she was just good looking while being empty, you could just turn off the sound and watch her appearance.
and that kind of isn't the point, right?
This girl has so much support. She's so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family. Look at her dad, Ive never seen anyone want the judges to turn more than him. LOL. :)
That smile,that joy,that personality is enough for me!
The singing is a bonus.
The video of this performance could be marketed as a cure for depression.

She has a lovely authentic traditional voice as well (see the Gem of the Roe which is on YT).
Her timing's off and that makes it much less enjoyable

For some reason it really irks me when singers sing too slow and fall behind the instruments. Like they're trying to make it different by singing out of time or something?
Her timing is different to the Emeli Sandé version, who sings slightly before the beat... but I think Rachael O'Connor timing is on the beat.. in my opinion..

Absolutely Beautiful, she is without doubt in contention to win this, lovely girl, her personality shone through and that voice for a 16 year old girl is sublime. Well done lass. You were born for this. Everybody in your family will go to Wembley one day, not to see the football or Rugby, it will be to see you because your a dazzling star. I can't stop watching you.
mayb its just me but i felt this was the only performance that was good enough this episode, quite disappointed with the voice this season, last 2 were amazing

if you like a voice dosent matter what they sing
just 1 note out of tune at 1.08 otherwise very good.
This young lady should be doing sell out shows on Broadway or in The West End, she has such a distinct voice for rock opera musicals or just a whole heap of musicals that ALW has ever done
