Aside from their beautiful voices, the BeeGees are one of, if not the best songwriters of all time! They wrote popular songs in different genres - Soul, R&B, Pop, Disco, Dance, Country, etc. A lot of us younger people don't even realize those popular songs sung by well-known artists are actually written by the BeeGees,
"Grease" the song is such an oddity. It's funk, it's orchestral... it defies easy categorization. It's hard to evaluate it as a "song." It simply IS. It's inexorably tied to Travolta's cue, "Of course, not. This is only the beginning," the opening credit animation, and the fade into the opening high school scene. Wow. It was song and filmmaking lightning in a bottle.

The only sin they ever committed was being so popular that they were replacing themselves at the top of the charts, or other artists performing their material were replacing them at the top of the charts.

This band of absolutely magical and surreal musicians/singers/songwriters have given the planet enough great musical material to listen to for centuries to come!!!. Their music weaves and winds its way into our very hearts and innermost selves. But even more mesmerizing is the fact that they produced songs or their songs are covered by literally hundreds and hundreds of other artistes....Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Diana Ross, Barbara Streisand, Frankie Valli, Dionne Warwick, Yvonne Elliman, Celine Dion and so many others simply too numerous to mention.. their achievements over five decades are impossible to match!! Yet the certainly unenlightened will say that they were just "Disco.'. Embarrassing!! Grease was an amazing movie. It was the first movie I watched on VHS. We couldn’t believe how cool it was to actually have a theater movie in our home. Olivia will always be a true beauty! Her voice and charisma resonated throughout her entire life. Being at this concert would of been the show of a lifetime. Bee Gees were so talented and they have so many songs that they wrote for other artists as well. Love this video!
I was a fan in the late 70’s when I was 14. I started listening to them again recently. I am blown away over how talented they were throughout their careers. There will never be better sounding harmonies, period. They should have recorded this song for the movie.

The first time i heard their music was in 1969, i was 10 then... Barry was my very first crush hehee at 10!!! 😂😂😂 Now, i'm 61 still he is my crush!!!
