I watch on my phone and on PC, and I like when it's zoomed out. It helps me see the entire context of the map. Obviously wouldn't want it like that all the time, but going back and forth when appropriate works perfectly for me.
I looove the zoomed out view, although I do watch on a tablet. I think you’ve got good intuition for when zooming out is appropriate. Thanks for the question! Your thoughtful engagement with your viewerbase gives me chills
3:00 i watch on my phone and yes zoomed in is better for phone users, but i DO like it when you zoom out on those games where both players are moving their armies around, like circling fighters, before the “big engage”. It really does help paint a bigger picture, and then you always zoom back in to see the details of the fight. I do enjoy that a lot.
And I will siege them with my tank, And with my lings their goons I flank! And I will storm their huddled force, While vulture mines cut off their course! And I will drop them from the sky, While mutalisks harass supply! And I will reaver drop with glee, While hydras spew their shots at me! Say! I do have chills, I do! These StarCraft casts make me feel brand new! I like Artosis’ narration skills! Thank you, thank you, for giving me chills!
I usually watch on a tablet sized screen and I really appreciate the zoom-outs. Your casting about what is going on when you can take that sort of big picture view is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this channel.
I'm warching on a tv. Zoom outs look amazing, and I think you should do more and not less. The game looks beautiful when you can see the entire battlefield, and watch the unit movement.
Watchin on old phone before sleep. There's a good mix of zooming in and out. On a phone, it is easy enough to zoom in manually to see part of it better if the video is too zoomed out. No matter how good or bad my day has been, processing the intensity and controlled chaos of a fresh cyber duel within the rules of the greatest games of all time, helped along with a passionate insightful, and somefimes tastefully humorous analysis, is a great way to relax and chill before entering the dreamscape.
I like the zooming out as it gives the bigger picture (pun intended) on where the armies are, and what else is happening on the map. I watch on a 2K monitor on PC
I usually watch on a tablet or phone but I do enjoy the zooming in/out if the situation calls for it! Like zooming I for a micro battle or zooming out to show a siege line 👍👌
I thoroughly enjoy when you zoom out from time-to-time so we can get a good view of the game. It's not something that's possible to do outside of replays so it's a nice added bonus and I love to see it put to good use!
I'm on PC, and I love the zoomed out casting, but it's totally cool with me if we stay zoomed in more often for the phone viewers. Thanks for another great cast Arty.
I watch on my phone and looooove the zoomed out view. I wouldn't mind if it was permanently zoomed out to the max. The army movements and tactical play is just as entertaining as small micro skirmishes. Thanks!
I watch on a huge monitor too but I also prefer zooming out being limited to moments when it makes sense. Examples of this are when explaining army positioning, movement and in post game analysis. Personally I think you're doing a good job deciding when to zoom out.
Every day, when I come home from work: Catch something to eat, sofa, TV with chromecast on, legs up and Artosis cast or ASL/SSL Please never stop. I need this to close off a hard day of work 🙏 (And thats why I'm a patreon) And please, keep on zooming out! It's a strategy-game. It's all about positions and movings (beside macro and build-order. But thats not so exciting to watch 😅)
The zooming out really helps in putting things into perspective, and showing the bigger picture. Please don't stop doing it (I am viewing both from PC and mobile, but mainly PC). Also, the first zealot + probe did kill 2 drones instead of 1 if I saw correctly (the Probe had 1 kill on it).
I watch on my PC, and I prefer it zoomed out because it generally involves less scrolling around. Plus it provides a good view when both players are setting up their armies against each other and you can see the positioning both players are making.
I watch on my TV or my ultra wide, really love the zoomed out view because it gives a great overview, guess if you don't do it for 5 minutes in a row it'll be fine, even for people watching in their phones
I watch on a 55" flat screen and I love your casts. Particularly all the Protoss matches. I played 15-20 years ago and I sucked. My friends were in (Sphere) and I just kind of casually played. But I enjoy watching Dewalt and Stork (I think) and it makes me realize why I sucked so bad Not just the things I completely misunderstood like build order vs specific races but the ways I should have been harassing and when I should have been expanding. Love your casts. Been watching all of them the last few weeks.
Man calm was one of the reasons i rooted for stx soul back in the day. Good to see him active. Also please do zoom out for point making purposes. Makes me appreciate army movement and map control that much more. Disregard people complaining about it. They know nothing ❤
I watch on a big tablet/phone like thingy, size like my hand. I like the occasional zoomout. I'm half laid back, feet resting on my bed. It's so chill. Would never watch while sitting in a normal chair at a desk pc.
Zoom in on micro moments - if someone is clearing spider mines with 3 dragoons, it makes sense to have the picture be a small view. If we're watching 40 siege tanks run into 100 zealots, it's more important to have the large, macro scale picture available. extremely experienced observers can keep it zoomed in a lot more often, but it's a good crutch to zoom out because you might just miss a shuttle or something if you're too enthralled with the action elsewhere.
I've watched about 90% of the videos on my phone and 10% on my TV. I prefer it zoomed out on my phone, I like to see the full picture. The units and buildings are designed well enough I can still tell what it is at a glance even zoomed out.
Zoomed out when it makes sense is the best. You can still see on a phone. I'm legally blind and my phone has a smaller screen than any other smartphone, and i can still see fine when it is zoomed out.
I watch on phone or tv generally. Probably a 50/50 split of how I watch. I like it being zoomed out even whilst watching on mobile phone. Anyways great cast as always arty, if your reading this enjoy your morning poo.
Regarding your camera work as an observer I think it's really enjoyable to see as close as possible when you're ranting about a unit or something that isn't illustrated by the action on the screen. The art of Broodward is god tier and it gives me a great feeling to look at a Overlord's ass in 4k. IMO 5% super closeup 20% standard zoom 75% zoomed out to whatever degree the battle demands.
I typically watch on my TV but I prefer normal size or slightly zoomed out, purely to get a better feel for what the players can actually see. These games give me Chills!
Before RUclips was banned I was watching ArtosisCasts on the TV while working out. Lifting Barbells. Now I only watch on PC. And I forget to lift my Barbells.
I'm 23 and not blind so I can see fine on mobile even when you have it zoomed out. No complaints here. The guys complaining should look into bifocal lenses.
When you think just getting into SSL it's a dream come true after years of constant hard work. And then there is a guy who currently won 3 of those on a row. Its mind-blowing of you think on it
9:14 Twitch RT breaking in! I watch it both on my phone and TV and I think a mixed approach would be the best, give bird eye view of the big picture when it's necessary to explain disposition and tactics and keep it mid-zoom when key battles are happening.
I watch on both. Funnily I look more on the phone because on PC I'm usually playing a game so I end up just listening to Artosis cast a game until something interesting is said to happen.
I mostly watch these on phone. However, I still prefer it zoomed out. I have zero issues seeing it zoomed out on my phone with 20/20 vision, but not everyone has good eye sight so I'd understand if a lot of others couldn't see certain interactions zoomed out.
I watch every single day with my morning coffee. Honestly, I think watching this zoomed in would ruin the experience. I hope you keep it the way you have bee doing it.
2:24 Tardtosis goes to lick a doorknob, and artosis starts to commentate. 2:55 tardtosis comes back and worries about how your watching and completely misses the early pressure. 3:33 artosis comes back kicks tard in the balls and stays. Thank God.
Zoom out looks better in any display. I would considered the middle between normal zoom and farther distance (zoomed out) as the standard for casting. ❤
Tablet just before bed :) I think super close zoom-ins are funny and a nice change of pace sometimes. Like on the stuck zergling in a recent game. I have no compaints with your style of zooming in and out.
i watch on both. in most situations i don't like zoom out and think it should be used very sparingly, but I see from reading the comments that I'm in the minority. my problem with zoom out is I like to see the details of the micro and that's a lot harder to see zoomed out, even on PC. whoever controls the camera in pro matches does a fantastic job and i agree with their philosophy on zoom which seems to be guided by, "try not use it if you don't have to", and when they do zoom out they rarely fully zoom out. i don't think zooming in should ever be used because it doesn't add any clarity. i don't know who controls the camera in these pro matches but it's clear they are very knowledgeable about the game and prioritize what to show extremely well.
I sometimes watch vids on my phone, but 95% of the time I watch the video on my PC while eating food. Not great when you mention you read this while on the toilet, but it's a risk I've chosen to take.
Usually I watch Artosis' casts on an IMAX screen in a cinema, just for the immersive experience.
Surround sound for the win
Formal request for a THX audio intro for all future uploads
i really like the zooming out, personally. i think it looks fantastic
I have watched on a phone, and I still prefer zoomed out so I can see everything.
Feel same
Same.
I watch on my phone and TV. Keep doing your thing arty. Love the content
Same
Yeah! Same. You just need to hold your phone 1 inch from your eyeballs. 😅
I watch on my phone and on PC, and I like when it's zoomed out. It helps me see the entire context of the map. Obviously wouldn't want it like that all the time, but going back and forth when appropriate works perfectly for me.

I watch on my PC like 90% of the time. For what it is worth, I absolutely LOVE when you zoom way out!! It is my FAVORITE!
And I will siege them with my tank,
And with my lings their goons I flank!
And I will storm their huddled force,
While vulture mines cut off their course!
And I will drop them from the sky,
While mutalisks harass supply!
And I will reaver drop with glee,
While hydras spew their shots at me!
Say! I do have chills, I do!
These StarCraft casts make me feel brand new!
I like Artosis’ narration skills!
Thank you, thank you, for giving me chills!
Legends say when Artosis was still casting live in Korea, the people in the entire building got chills
I watch on my phone while taking a poop at work.
Company gets a dollar, I get a dime. That's why I poop (and watch Artosis) on company time.
Making brown brew, eh?
When it's a Dewalt game, you know it's going to be a good one.
I usually watch on a tablet sized screen and I really appreciate the zoom-outs. Your casting about what is going on when you can take that sort of big picture view is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this channel.

I pretty much always watch on PC, so I really like the zoomed out parts, especially when giving strategic considerations about the map etc.
I like the zooming out as it gives the bigger picture (pun intended) on where the armies are, and what else is happening on the map.
I watch on a 2K monitor on PC
Watch on PC. I actually like it when you zoom out.
I usually watch on a tablet or phone but I do enjoy the zooming in/out if the situation calls for it! Like zooming I for a micro battle or zooming out to show a siege line 👍👌

100% phone but don't mind the zoom out once in a while
Im watching on a big monitor, love the zoomed out overview. I wouldnt know whats happening at all without it.
STATE made it into Starleague in SC2. I feel like that's worth mentioning. I love this channel Artosis! You're doing the lord's work.
I watch on phone every single day at work, I have never had a problem with the zoom out.
The zealot had 2 drone kills, first at 3:18.
Thanks!
I watch on my phone, tablet, PC, and even my TV. I don't mind zooming out at all even on my phone. I enjoy seeing everything happening.
I watch exclusively on my phone. I love the zoomed out bits, especially in TvT and TvZ.
A new Artosis Cast? Chills.
I watch on a huge monitor too but I also prefer zooming out being limited to moments when it makes sense. Examples of this are when explaining army positioning, movement and in post game analysis. Personally I think you're doing a good job deciding when to zoom out.
Watching those archons (try to) navigate through the buildings was heartbreaking.
Pc mostly, I love the zoom outs and would miss them. Also loved the zoom in following a marine in one video too. Thanks for the great content Artosis.
I watch on a MacBook most of the time and either scale is great. Your dynamic zooming is illuminating and not innappropriately timed.
I've watched on the phone but zooming out is still totally worthwhile, don't change anything.
I always watch on my fridge screen to get extra chills. But seriously zooming out is great, even on phone.
Every day, when I come home from work:
Catch something to eat, sofa, TV with chromecast on, legs up and Artosis cast or ASL/SSL
Please never stop. I need this to close off a hard day of work 🙏 (And thats why I'm a patreon)
And please, keep on zooming out! It's a strategy-game. It's all about positions and movings (beside macro and build-order. But thats not so exciting to watch 😅)
I watch both on my phone and on PC. I'm fine with it zoomed out. Keep making great content! You do a great job explaining things.
Toilet ✅
New Artosis cast ✅
Chills ✅
I watch Arto on a 50 inch TV plugged to a PC and its awesome to watch the game in a screen like that no matter if its zoomed in or zoomed out.
I watch on PC and TV, so please zoom out as much as possible, it gives much more insight into army movement
I always put on your daily cast when I get home from work as soon as i boot up my PC!
PC, loved zoomed out as it gives a bigger picture to the engagements - damn siege tanks shoot far
I watch on my PC, and I prefer it zoomed out because it generally involves less scrolling around. Plus it provides a good view when both players are setting up their armies against each other and you can see the positioning both players are making.
the zoom outs are good imo, just not the whole time. but to highlight strat and tactical its perfect
I watch on a PC, often with a giant screen. Those zoomed out shots are cash money.
I watch on my TV or my ultra wide, really love the zoomed out view because it gives a great overview, guess if you don't do it for 5 minutes in a row it'll be fine, even for people watching in their phones

Also please do zoom out for point making purposes. Makes me appreciate army movement and map control that much more. Disregard people complaining about it. They know nothing ❤
I watch however I can, phone, computer, television, refrigerator - but most of the time it is by telescope into your room while you cast.
You didnt specify if you prefer the zoom out or not
I watch on a big tablet/phone like thingy, size like my hand. I like the occasional zoomout. I'm half laid back, feet resting on my bed. It's so chill.
Would never watch while sitting in a normal chair at a desk pc.
Oh my days, hearing the name "Elky" took me wayyyyyy back. You start talking about Xellos, Legionnaire, Grr, or Froz, and I'll pass out.
Zoom in on micro moments - if someone is clearing spider mines with 3 dragoons, it makes sense to have the picture be a small view. Exclusively phone - zoom out is GREAT. PLEASE DONT CHANGE ANYTHING. You’re great because you do your own thing.
I watch on phone half the time and tv half the time. I like the zoom outs bc these casts are more analytical and the zoom outs give mkre context
At this point my body sends me to the toilet at 9:00am every day.
Zoomed out when it makes sense is the best. You can still see on a phone. I'm legally blind and my phone has a smaller screen than any other smartphone, and i can still see fine when it is zoomed out.
Thanks for cast, I'm watching on 32" monitor btw. - zoomed out no bothering at all.
I watch on phone or tv generally. Probably a 50/50 split of how I watch. I like it being zoomed out even whilst watching on mobile phone. Anyways great cast as always arty, if your reading this enjoy your morning poo.

5.81" 1080x2340px screen here. I've not missed a video in a while now. I like the zoomed out view. Keep it up!
I typically watch on my TV but I prefer normal size or slightly zoomed out, purely to get a better feel for what the players can actually see. These games give me Chills!
Phone. I find it nice when you zoom out to give us “strategic overview” or make a point.
🖖🇧🇬
I watch/listen on my phone while I get ready for my day. Zoomed out is fine.
I usually watch on my phone - set High Picture Quality to see the zoomed out view clearely. We can also pinch to zoom. You do a good job observing.
Before RUclips was banned I was watching ArtosisCasts on the TV while working out. Lifting Barbells.
Now I only watch on PC. And I forget to lift my Barbells.
I exclusively watch on phone and never had a problem with being zoomed out
There's a great snow vs flash game where snow absolutely bullies flash. Check that one out. It's on apocalypse
I see a bench or something in a Top-Down 2D Video Game... explains a few of our differences I suspect.
I watch almost exclusively on my phone and enjoy zoomed out without any issues.
Love a Dewalt game, and since you asked: Watching on laptop sometimes on a big monitor.
I'm 23 and not blind so I can see fine on mobile even when you have it zoomed out. No complaints here. The guys complaining should look into bifocal lenses.
I had chills waiting for the chills
🥶🥶
I almost always watch on my phone, but also like the zoomed out big picture canerawork
I get Luigi to hold the phone directly in front of him while laying face down
I watch everyday, but I change how I watch it. You just keep doing what you have been doing.
PC, theater mode. Yay for zoom outs!
Watching RTS on phone sounds like a special kind of heresy to me 😀
When you think just getting into SSL it's a dream come true after years of constant hard work. And then there is a guy who currently won 3 of those on a row. Its mind-blowing of you think on it
3D Goggles and Popcorn is the only way to watch Artosis Casts
I watch on my PC most of the time but even on the phone I liked the zoomed out mode so I can see everything.
9:14 Twitch RT breaking in!

Tablet just before bed :)
I think super close zoom-ins are funny and a nice change of pace sometimes. Like on the stuck zergling in a recent game.

This game looked exactly like every ladder PvT from the 2000's.
Zooming out gives me chills.
I prefer if view is zoomed out. People on the mobile device can just zoom in. RUclips have that feature build-in - you just pinch the screen
i watch on both. in most situations i don't like zoom out and think it should be used very sparingly, but I see from reading the comments that I'm in the minority. my problem with zoom out is I like to see the details of the micro and that's a lot harder to see zoomed out, even on PC.

I watch on both a phone and a monitor. I like zoomed out personally, but I watch the minimap a lot.
I sometimes watch vids on my phone, but 95% of the time I watch the video on my PC while eating food. Not great when you mention you read this while on the toilet, but it's a risk I've chosen to take.
mostly a 32 inch 1440p monitor but also an iphone 13 mini. never had any zoom problems, not even on my phone
I watch on a phone and like the varied zoom in and out depending on the action/commentary
its crazy my daily shit is in sync with arty vids.. chills
I'm watching on a phone and I like that you zoom out. Keep doing what your doing
