Yngwie, Satriani & Vai were the 1st (Trilogy) 2nd ( Surfing With The Alien) 3rd (Passion & Warfare) Instrumental guitar lps i owned and they got everyone off thier asses. Was not long and Cacophony were blowing my mind! Now its Jeff Loomis ( Zero Order Phase) & Guthrie Govan ( most versatile guitarist ive ever heard). Its not going anywhere.

I read a interview with Rudy sarzo and he said that Yngwie was a true pleasure to work with and a nice guy , I've been do about a hundred and fifty concerts and that was the only time I caught a pick and I got two of Yngwie 's picks from that night !

He doesn't seem like the "jerk" a lot of people talks about on the internet. Apparently he loves his wife, has friends and is a joyful person, always smiling and joking. I've heard a lot of his stuff after the first album was variable but progressively better up till he started singing. He has been fantastic on guitar but admittedly it always sounded very repetitive until I really listened. He is an inspiration!
