Clive,I have a parkray multi fuel stove with back boiler which has run great for many years but I’ve noticed for the last 12 months the water gets scalding as it should but the 7 radiators I have are warm not hot It’s got a pipe stat for turning the pump on but can’t see any other valves,I had it professionally installed 20 years ago & has been brilliant but don’t understand why it’s gone like this,I’ve put a new central heating pump in & it’s made no difference Any ideas ?
I’ve tried that Clive but it’s just the same ,it’s just turning the pump on at a lower temperature now with the pipe stat lowered,I’ve bled the pump cold & warm but radiators just the same and water scalding, sorry to ask again but is there anything else I could try to get my radiators hot No air is the radiators Thanks mick
@@3353 Any high level air vents on pipes in loft ? Turn cylinder stat up to make water only go around heating pipes. Turn all valves off and open one at a time from the lowest to the highest, to move any air lock
We have been using a Nordica Range for 4 years and have found a nearly new 370sfw Rayburn which we are planning to buy, our system is slightly different to yours in that we have a thermal store. I'm hoping it will be happy rayburning.
What did you call the tee on the return from the CH back into the 28mm gravity primary?? I've only ever know injector tee's used in this situation and the term injector tee used. Presume you have a metal F&E tank ? most I see have plastic......................
Hi Clive did you install and do all the plumbing for your Rayburn Heatranger 355sfw your self buddy
Yes... all info here facebook.com/groups/372709123873867
Great to see what you have there. I don't have a zoning valve on the cylinder, I just kept it simple.

Check for air in system when cold. Turn heat stat down to 50
Make sure pump is vented. Big silver screw at front

What size pipe from the water supply in F & E to cylinder, are you going from 22mm to 28mm.

do you run it with an open-vented tank or do you have some other way of relieving excess pressure?
F&E in loft facebook.com/groups/372709123873867
Barry, Never run a solid fuel unvented
I seem to hear conflicting views on using 10mm radiator piping on this kind of setup!
DONT USE IT.... facebook.com/groups/372709123873867
@@cliveproctor943 Explanation, I thought 28mm flow and return, existing piping 15mm and 10mm to radiators, so 10mm pipe is restricting velocity.
