Black norie should have faced solder boy while butcher and mave fought homeland.. Mave going full feminist and the episode having gay woman go crazy but she fucked butcher two episodes ago. So this show is one sided trash. Mm. Not getting the use the green super power is stupid. Nurfing the def girl for no reason. Star light pointless. What a shit show ending and not in a good way.

they didn't write it very clearly but Maeve in season 3 is stronger than before She trained for months on end and got sober. She's at peak strenght. These measures that are used against her here were most likely based on her state throughtout the last couple of years, no her peak state. That's why she can take the gas and why she can challenge Homelander later onwards

@@and8091 okay, so it all starts with season 1’s finale and the utter destruction of Billy Butcher’s character. He blows up the house knowing that there is a baby in the same room as him. His character would not do that from what we know in the show. Season 2 Vought maybe the most incompetent organization outside the First Order in Star Wars. They have god awful security measures to the point that characters can go out in the open and hand people sensitive materials without anything or anyone raising alarm. This is just some of the issues because I haven’t watched two in so long that if I rewatch it again all my criticisms will come back. Onto the finale of 2, the Boys have an absurd amount of plot armor. To the point where their car gets flipped like a tortilla several times over, hit by lightning all while not wearing there seatbelt and the worst that happens is a scratch. Not to mention that they are fighting Stormfront whom is missing the entire episode because she went to Vought tower for some reason just to watch the thing that says she’s a nazi and then leave. Homelander is a clown in this season. He supposedly cares for his image but also kills people with no care in the world. Season 3 we get to see him progress to that point but not in season 2 where he is beyond obsessed with his image yet he performs act after act of stupid ass decisions all the way up to how he is forced to submit to Maeve at the end even though he can kill her and destroy the evidence. Don’t get me started on the dumbass black mail bull shit in this series either

I feel like the pros outweigh the cons by far. And I think making homelander useless in the second season was kinda intentional. All of season 2, homelander just got abused mentally and outsmarted because he was pretty pathetic. That left a scar on him and when stormfront finally dies, he completely snaps. I interpreted homelanders season 2 arc as build up for this season. Generally I agree that the writing has gotten weaker but I still wouldn't call it bad.
