I don’t have the Oxford seat, but an Airhawk, which works pretty much the same. After a lot of experimenting, I found that very low air pressure worked best for me. Too much pressure made the seat very unstable and did not improve comfort. I kept lowering the pressure so that my rear end just barely touched the seat beneath the Airhawk. I have done some very long days in the saddle with no pain and bouncing around. I have also tried gel seats and found that they don’t work for me.
I still have the original seat on my 2017 NC750X. I find the more miles I do on the bike the more I get used to it. I can now do 400+ mile days and do not need to stop between fuel fill-ups. Nonetheless I would still consider a more comfortable seat.
@BibTheBoulderTheOriginalOne thank you for your comments, I've just completed my first proper long distance ride on the NC "video coming soon" and I must admit I did find the stock seat pretty comfy, Motorway riding however can get a little tedious but that would be the same on any bike.
@Jodmart many thanks for your comments and question, I've not had a chance to try out the airseat as yet. Hopefully I am planning a long trip in August so I will update the channel then, thanks again 👍
@BibTheBoulderTheOriginalOne The airseat does raise your ride height, but only very marginally, I have the touring screen fitted on my bike, so it's not an issue for me however if you have the standard screen you may want to consider a clip on windshield.

@garythornhill4635 Thanks for your advice and input Gary. I know some people who have tried cycling shorts as well with mixed results.

Hi, Have you ridden the NC with the new seat pad, if so what are your thoughts. Good luck with the channel

@@hartmoto2064 Any update yet? If so, did it affect the airflow onto your head as you were higher up?
