The speed of Pia's commentary makes chess sound like horse racing. Goodness knows what it would sound like if she was commentating on a blitz game, when she'd be trying to fit her 10 move deep analysis of the current position into approximately half a second before the next move was played.

I am convinced that the only reason I watch these is for Pia. It's a breath of fresh air to see her commentate. I like how quickly she goes through at least a few different variations. I think it might give the audience at least some idea of how chess players think. The clock never stops ticking.
