I would consider myself a free thinker I believe in God however I am venturing away from Religion which I think is doctrines from men during biblical times. I believe you should always question the things you've been taught. But when searching for answers, you gotta think critically. Hearing this gentleman speak made me realize that he did not actually study the scriptures at all.
Since this is just a comment I'll only address the "do not cling to me" part and the "contradictions" in the end.
Simply put, meaning gets lost when things are translated into English. A simple google search will let you know that Jesus said "ME Mou Aptou" meaning stop clinging to me. She was already holding him and didn't want to let go. He said this to say that he wasnt going to be there long cuz he was to return to the father soon. So "stop clinging to me and go spread the good news.
Secondly, the 3 diff accounts come from 3 perspectives. Notice that if you and 5 people saw an accident or robbery, each of you would all have a different account. When telling your story, you would explain the parts that stuck to you the most. You'd even emit parts you thought were irrelevant. You'd tell the police 1 story but your family another because you would tell them what you thought was most relevant for them to hear.
This is the same for Matthew, Mark, and John.
They each mentioned things they believed to be most important to share because they each were preaching to different crowds. You have to look at who they also were individually and who was actually there. 1 was an actual disciple (first hand information), the other was the cousin of a disciple (second hand info), the last author was a historian. Their perspectives were different because of this, but their point was the same, Jesus is the savior.
I can go on but I've typed enough. I'll just say that the "teacher" in this video does not seem to have any knowledge of the Bible at all.
So before you take his words as "facts", please please please study for yourself, and with an open mind. Please.
