    II. Sab (1841) - a precursor to Cuba’s abolitionist and independence movements (1. characters - Cuba’s dependence on foreign prestige applied to marriage; 2. chapter 1 - European and American Romanticism; 3. Sab’s Letter to Teresa-a Feminist/Abolitionist Manifesto).
