Shadowpriest does pretty well against mage and can quite handedly mess them up. It's all about experience and skill. He says he likes playing vs those.

Watching Xar and Mitch play fire mage is like watching two completely different playstyles.
Xar always has so much damage even when they lose and he died first he puts in at least as much as his duo.
On the other hand, Mitch's average is like 26k dmg per game or something. In his games with Quin you can see the dmg difference is sooo high.
But both are 2400+ rated mages with awesome playstyles...
Mitch is good but Xar is definitely a more rounded player in general. I’ve went against him a few times and his mechanics are extremely clean and his CC I precise

mage/rogue truly is the most artistic comp and the more skilled artist you are the better the comp becomes. it scales so highly that a top skilled mage/rogue can feel like an impossible matchup to win.
btw im not quite talking about the current shadowlands state of both classes, its like a classical thing that has been going on since tbc (and even in classic they are amazing combo, just arenas dont exist yet)
have you seen two lowskilled naps using sequence macro? feels shit to play versus even when they suck since they randomly win

Last game was really nice cose when he got the sap on druid i would have gone to the sp . but saping 3times and geting the sheep on sp into kidney druid ; that was a good decision and a beautifull game

@@Linus1871 1-shot potential with the hunt, auto darkness to stop burst, defensives like rain from above and blur to cuck melee, Darkness to save allies, 2nd Most Mobile class, tons of utility, and still a fair amount of self healing even after the 15% leech nerf.

There’s two different types of pvp trinket. There’s the ones that give stat bonuses and the ones that cleanse. You must equip one of each for the set. They’re both sold at the pvp vendor

The outro music is like a spoiler for me. Whenever I watch video full screen and hear it in the middle of the fight I feel dissapointed, because now I know that there will be a kill and the video will end. Please change it 😅🙏
Can you tell please how do you set your focus ? It seems like you have smth like Shift clic macro to focus and then you clic on normal target right ?
With S arena or gladius addon you just right click the target you want to focus.
Is there a reason you stopped using fevered incantation for the triple shield?
he mentioned when talking to another elite mage that you want to target the minimum effective gear/options needed to reliably kill targets, and put the rest into defense for better survivability.
He basically talked about fire having enough damage without fevered incantation to kill targets, so killing them with even more damage is kind of like an overheal from a healer, if you can instead use the excess to beef up survivability, that is a better place to put resources.
That said, your mileage may vary, my fire mage is nowhere near as good as he is as a player, you may need the extra damage headroom from fevered incantation because you are not as effective at pumping out damage than elite mages. But that is why.

You can right click the arena frames.. But xar is probobly using arena 1 2 3 macros

Hey do you have a solution to input lag? It really messes up my rotation
Turn off buffering in advanced video settings, and turn off Vsync too.
Make sure you're playing on a server with good ping for you, and maybe try using Bartenders "Cast on Button Down" option - or a similar addon with the same functionality - this really helped me out.

3:00 could anyone explain me what the druid could have done to survive there?
He just trinketed blind so he needs to prevent the instant swap or blow a lot of cds preemptively to live. This, or the ww needed to survive by himself AND stop the follow up poly/sap/stun so druid doesnt have to trinket blind (very hard if not impossible). I think I heard ww has a bad matchup into MR 2s
Resto druids are a very easy kill now if u have a nice setup.. theres almost nothing they can do

I think that at 4 min should just stealth the rogue so you cant cc him cause of db cd and he gives bark and run the pillar to restealth or then use meld.. Now he wasted the meld + human form + blind poly etc on him.. Druid couldnt be the killtarget in the first go cause ww had blind-poly drs on him. because as fire he can shake his screen pressing fireblast on his mouse spamming pyros, so that way he deals more damage.
Cause arcane can't oneshot and you have to cast.

Nahj's legendary makes it so using vanish reduces cd of other skills by 20 seconds.

I've played with and against warriors and can say with certainty your just a bad one they are one of the tankiest Classes in arena. Ignore pain is absurd and with rally you hit 40k hp with all that damage reduction. And your one of the hardest hitting classes and they dumbed it down so it's also the easiest.

As far as I remember he wasn't sure if that much nerf was justified at this point when people will get better gear and have higher health pools. Later he said how he likes that he is able to actually be a useful player instead of Pika just running in and killing someone. Just thought to put it here, since you didn't really tell what he was actually saying.
