    Nicely done vid on a topic that comes up every so often on YT. Wow, is that your Pentax MX at about 1 min into vid? (Still have mine. K mount lenses adapt well to Sony A6k line.) ISO affects the brightness of our images, and so has become a convenient way of triangular thinking, but only aperture and shutter speed control the amount of light that enters the cam and hits the sensor. You know that. ISO is more akin to a volume control knob on a radio where incoming radio signal strength is fixed. Anyway, good instruction and illustrations by showing different image outcomes by using different shutter speeds and focus points. Ans to your Qs, yes I've done light trail stuff, and re: tips, turn off image stabilization on lens and cam where gear has 'em. Happy holidays, guy!

    • @dunnadidit
      @dunnadidit  5 лет назад +2

      Yeah that’s my old Pentax! The lenses that I have for it are cool with an e mount speed booster!
      That’s a great point about iso! Just bad wording in my part, should have said it affects the brightness of the photo, not how much light comes in 🤦🏻‍♂️ lol. Hopefully I still got the point across.
      Thanks for watching! In my case I would actually argue for the ibis cause that bridge was rumbling with all that traffic going under it haha, but in other situations I totally agree! Cheers!

      @paulm8157 5 лет назад +1

      Dunna Did It IBIS point taken. RUclips poster Mark Holtz has a good vintage lens channel and he reviews many of the older Pentax screw mount lenses. Might be worth your look-see if you haven’t already. Interesting how so much top quality content comes from Canadians!

    Are the cars vanishing in the motion blur because their surface is much darker then the lights?
    And are the iso and aperture settings enough to make sure that this works (in the night)?

    • @dunnadidit
      @dunnadidit  4 года назад +1

      That’s exactly it, because they are moving, the amount of light on the cars isn’t enough to be captured at each point. But the headlights/taillights are enough!
