You'll find hell lot of events and concerts happening here that is just because the authority/marketing organization wants crowd for advertisement and where they'll find it as the uni is filled with a hell crap of 60-70k hopeless grads (a mini city with a major part of it being suburbs of Andhra and telengana). This adds to the branding such that they can attract students from various parts of the country to chuck in their parent's honest-sweat earned money. A hypothetical situation, a regular middle class citizen who sees their advertisement in addition to the false placement record will easily fall into this vicious circle. B.T.S, they don't have any seats limitation. Lpunest is a big fraud-case, 99 percent of the people appearing in the exam tends to secure a par mark follow up and yes they continue to prey on that scholarship which is provided nearly to everyone. I vividly remember my first day of the college at lpu, I had the idea that I've been doomed. Not a single qualified faculty who knows anything bout the subject. The students have the feeling that they can teach far better than those professors who are not even clear with their x,xii science topics. One of those said once theres nothing like a magnetic field formed when electric current is passed( ampere circuital law), another didn't even knew about monopoles and argued baselessly about optics and laser and one computer science teacher (I won't name him , he holds a master's and phd.) had trust issues with concept of semicolon usage. He didn't even had a clue that there's no semicolon used in python language. He used to tell, he works for a confidential organization with forensics, etc. Following that, they have baseless teachers faculty and hopeless Students. Struck with all this, the student feels lost and gets carried away. In computer science, they got 5-6k students in a single batch( P.S that's the strength of a whole eng. College). They don't have any limitation. They are ready to eat your money. The management is worst. When I went for doc verification along with my parents, they weren't looking professional at all. An unhandled crowd of shopkeepers/fish market who talk cheaply after false picketing money your pocket. I literally lost faith when I visited it's management/accounts dept/block. Wait I'm a rip you off, expose you! The students were mainly from a.p and telangana with percentage of 95 above. You'll hardly find any punjabi student being in punjab in btech. Think of it yourself. I'll tell you what there exists a hell of transperancy in there state boards. I remember, in one of my classes, there were a couple of 97 percenters who didn't even knew about the SI unit of mass, how many metres are there in a cm. Easy leaky deaky things huh? Then, most of the students have no option left apart from submerging themselves in various marketing events to ensure they fill their pockets with money. You ll find a lot of organization people representing chain marketing who'll drag to any level to chain you so that they can earn money. Thus people have nothing left except than joining those worthless clubs in DSA to pass there time. Actually students are bound not to reveal this at all or else they'll be imposed a heavy fine basis on irrelevant grounds or there fees might hike up by 20-30k. This is the reason, they fear to speak up. Accommodation is hell, they ll take hefty money in name of hostels and will provide you shit small quarters. If you are rich enough, you can afford ac ones. But majority opt for 4 seaters. They are damn pathetic with dilapidated and tumbledown windows, no ventilation, unhygienic. They ll charge you for mess too which give you unhygienic and badly prepared food. There are stalls held by local and students who provide you at reasonable rate but recently they got shut down as the mess didn't earned quite well because of it as for mess you have to pay that ammount in bulk. Once you ve paid, your enough to be doomed. 40k for 4 months mofo's seriously? You ain't got any chill after earning 70-80k from badly conditioned hostels along with tuition fees that is worth nothing. Those fucktards who are good for nothing. LPU, please stop scamming people. The customer executive will sugarcoat everything until your admission process is over and they'll not entertain you once you are in. Write any ammount of ums's , none's there to resolve. They ll propose the company to take up their students for a intership, make them work for a year for 5-8k pm and if it suits you put them to work with fake packages seem to offer. The idea behind is get rid of the mass such that they can label them as placed and since the internship ends after the College gets over/they get graduation, they are well ahead in their stats that they ve placed these people. Reality is that, majority of them falls victim to those shiny offers and get their intern over before the contract. *Placed to show, yet unplaced* The companies that a girl in the comment section was talking about have various profiles. VMware have been hiring for sales profile. Dude these are engineers. Ask those 20-25 Students who got intern. letter from amazon at the end of 7 sem. Ask how many of them got their letter revoked. They were just 3 of those who got them confirmed. Yes,, I'm talking about 25 out of 5000 people who are there in the dept who got selected for that offer. Chances! Let me do the match for you. 25/5000=1/200=0.005=5% And the ones who got the acceptance letter= 3/(25+4475) You are smart enough. And ya those 1 percent of the percent got their by themselves. There was no hell good faculty or assistance and they do branding on their names. What happens to the rest of the crowd. You are at profit, ask yourself. The only one who's profiting is vittals' (4000*12 lakhs) digested. Stonks too damn high. The people who easily fall prey to this scam do 10k pm job or else they have to deregister from placement services. I remember one incident, hell lot of people got placed in company like vyju(I won't name it, it s ed tech ) for sales profile and they made false promises that they'll shift them to tec domain after a period). 80 percent girls were caught up in this and lost it completely and regretted. Most of them couldn't sit into plcmnts again after worthless placement, had to roam in a costly city for placement else they ll end up.in backlog which is another way to suck.money. (1000 for 1 reappear and 10k.for backlog course for that shit teacher who'll make you mug up slides). You see those glitterin mall and pool right. that's where the money goes. There's another money which is taken in the name of placement prep where they ll force you to pay extra money for accomodation and course. Good move! Most students go unplaced. I am familiar with cases where cse students were struck without any stiphend. No money for the work they doin. The company had just one long table and a plastic chain in a 1 bhk room in an old-dilaphidated location for the namesake. They were told not share that thing with others. I am civil engineering student from Lovely Professional University with a CGPA of 8 I got placed at a package of 1.4 lakh / annum in Delhi in which i have to bear my stay and food expenses On refusing that m not gonna take this placement the TPO told me to Deregister from the placement as itll make the placement result go low This is how placement works in LPU I spent 60k for my tution fee , 60 k for my hostel fee , 30k for the food , 70for my pocket money And in return i am getting a 1.4 lakh per annum package. There is NO concept of placements from any tier-4 Indian engineering college. All the graduates are shifted in the companies owned by the college owners, as clerks. 20-25 thousand per month. Campus placement happens when a company desperately searches for skilled employees and pays them the salary of an engineer, and fills such positions from graduates from a college.

The management is worst. When I went for doc verification along with my parents, they weren't looking professional at all. An unhandled crowd of shopkeepers/fish market who talk cheaply after false picketing money your pocket.
I literally lost faith when I visited it's management/accounts dept/block.

The students were mainly from a.p and telangana with percentage of 95 above. You'll hardly find any punjabi student being in punjab in btech. Think of it yourself.
I'll tell you what there exists a hell of transperancy in there state boards. I remember, in one of my classes, there were a couple of 97 percenters who didn't even knew about the SI unit of mass, how many metres are there in a cm.

Then, most of the students have no option left apart from submerging themselves in various marketing events to ensure they fill their pockets with money. You ll find a lot of organization people representing chain marketing who'll drag to any level to chain you so that they can earn money. Thus people have nothing left except than joining those worthless clubs in DSA to pass there time.
Actually students are bound not to reveal this at all or else they'll be imposed a heavy fine basis on irrelevant grounds or there fees might hike up by 20-30k. This is the reason, they fear to speak up.
Accommodation is hell, they ll take hefty money in name of hostels and will provide you shit small quarters. If you are rich enough, you can afford ac ones. But majority opt for 4 seaters. They are damn pathetic with dilapidated and tumbledown windows, no ventilation, unhygienic. They ll charge you for mess too which give you unhygienic and badly prepared food.
There are stalls held by local and students who provide you at reasonable rate but recently they got shut down as the mess didn't earned quite well because of it as for mess you have to pay that ammount in bulk. Once you ve paid, your enough to be doomed. 40k for 4 months mofo's seriously? You ain't got any chill after earning 70-80k from badly conditioned hostels along with tuition fees that is worth nothing. Those fucktards who are good for nothing. LPU, please stop scamming people.
The customer executive will sugarcoat everything until your admission process is over and they'll not entertain you once you are in. Write any ammount of ums's , none's there to resolve.
I can share with you a message/chat I had with am officer from there who refused to entertain a genuine issue.

They have those fancy masters and doctorates who scam students sitting in their air conditioned cabins. (You'll hardly find any ac running in any classroom in month of aug or sep, we ll be there in drowned in sweat in those shit infrastrucred classroom with just a single projecter and plastic chairs scattered here and there.
There was this teacher who yelled in a practical after students complained that how come we are doing practicals in lab when the teacher didn't had any projector in lab, she just used to sit there. I wonder, if she knew about the software too or not(cse from.
Those placement officers will drag themselves to any level to put up their record.

They'll con you 9k bucks for registering in placements. Guess what no college asks money for placements after they've paid college fees.
The placement cell is in a hurry to throw students out so that they would not invest that low ammount too in the education by paying those proff's. Reality of final year placements is that they start calling companies (majority are baseless, scammy) from the end of 3 rd year (cse). This is the scam.
They ll propose the company to take up their students for a intership, make them work for a year for 5-8k pm and if it suits you put them to work with fake packages seem to offer.
The idea behind is get rid of the mass such that they can label them as placed and since the internship ends after the College gets over/they get graduation, they are well ahead in their stats that they ve placed these people. Reality is that, majority of them falls victim to those shiny offers and get their intern over before the contract.

I remember one incident, hell lot of people got placed in company like vyju(I won't name it, it s ed tech ) for sales profile and they made false promises that they'll shift them to tec domain after a period). 80 percent girls were caught up in this and lost it completely and regretted. Most of them couldn't sit into plcmnts again after worthless placement, had to roam in a costly city for placement else they ll end up.in backlog which is another way to suck.money.
(1000 for 1 reappear and 10k.for backlog course for that shit teacher who'll make you mug up slides). You see those glitterin mall and pool right. that's where the money goes.
There's another money which is taken in the name of placement prep where they ll force you to pay extra money for accomodation and course. Good move!

Goons!. I had a friend from cse who was forced to join as a marketing agent for a fraudlent thing that had nothing to do with the course. He went door marketing, went broke and is struggling in a metropolitan city. Even they don't do any research about the company they want to recruit you. I am familiar with cases where cse students were struck without any stiphend. No money for the work they doin. The company had just one long table and a plastic chain in a 1 bhk room in an old-dilaphidated location for the namesake. They were told not share that thing with others. They are still working for the org. With almost no money in return.

I got placed at a package of 1.4 lakh / annum in Delhi in which i have to bear my stay and food expenses
On refusing that m not gonna take this placement the TPO told me to Deregister from the placement as itll make the placement result go low

I spent 60k for my tution fee , 60 k for my hostel fee , 30k for the food , 70for my pocket money

There are many companies which come to LPU for placements and that too for one complete semester their is assistance for placements. So, no one can say they have no placements. Bright students always end up with good placements/companies. In LPU, they help each and every student so that they don't lag in placements with all extra efforts from quantitative testing to HR screening.
