So, Borky just kind of disappeared huh? I mean, I'm sure everyone would have loved to have Borky back for the final episode, but I understand that Taka has a lot going on, so it makes sense that he couldn't make it himself. However, just a little epilogue, just something quick from Monty to give some closer, wouldn't have hurt (I assume. I obviously don't know the details of their reasoning).

seriously, like of the 5 (the dm even being his sister) youdve thought 1 of them wouldve at least mentioned him! its not like he went the way of Orion from critrole, Taka left on what ive been led to understand were good terms with the group; for fucksake they upload all the content ON HIS CHANNEL. So why no motivational voice clip during The End, why no update on his cheesery and how things are going with the tribes other than Gruul's (who probably wouldnt even have become part of the story if not for Borky, but Gruul gets an epilogue)? But no, hes just written out and never spoken of again? Thats disgusting

@@Rzharving yeah I found myself thinking the same thing, It almost came across as something secretly sinister
like I know I'm overthinking it but maybe taka as he went on detested playing the idiot character, but I felt Borky developed
very well into the moral compass of the group and even a written Epilogue or monty asking him to record something would
of been nice. Like was hanging around weird anime girls more interesting than at least showing up in spirit?
I would of at least liked monty to make up something like "His cheesery was sucessful, he got with Lilly maybe had a couple kids"
The end. That will always be a sour note on this series.

i feel like borky got the short end of the stick in the epilogue. i completely understand if taka couldn't or didn't want to return but i'd like to think either he or monty could have written a where are they now section for borky and the fact that he wasn't included in the heroes statue rubbed me the wrong way especially since the character was confirmed to be alive and fighting several episodes back as a throwaway line. he was a core member of the unexpectables for the longest time and it sucked to not even see him acknowledged.

I still can't believe they didn't bring Borky up at all, even if they had Connor do voice lines or something like that one episode during the elemental planes arc, but even the slightest mention of him was too much for them. Borky was an important character, who, never got his own mask arc, never got a voice line in the final battle, even though dozens of npcs and other guest stars got lines, and they could've put him at the wedding, or literally anywhere. But he wasn't there. There's a difference between being unable to show up for the episodes and be part of the stream, but no final comments, no epilogue for what became of him after the war, nothing. I held out hopes that they would give him at least one thing in the previous episode, or this one. But nothing. This episode, that is supposed to be full of finalities and happy endings, leaves nothing but a bitter taste in my mouth, because them acting as if Borky doesn't exist, just ruins the entire series for me at this point.

Dont forget the banning of borky's name which i somewhat get as people can be toxic about certain things and take them to far. But i feel its a bit weird that borky just got written out of the story like how that simpson's dog did in that itchy and scratchy episode.

Yeah it's sad borky wasn't given any closure and I agree I feel taka and Monty had a falling out she was always hardest on him and treated his character the worst out of them all and you can see how controlling throughout the series she is with everything I mean I get she's trying to be professional but even critical role is nowhere near as serious with clamping down on the players having fun but there's been many a time thru out where she'll yell at someone for breathing or what have you and I normally listen at work with good earbuds and never was taken out of the game until she shouted at someone l etc... I feel there either was a falling out or enough tension that taka bowed out and instead of trying to be an ass and kick them off his channel and force them to start over on RUclips he started his own new channel, and focused on the weary 101, but if they were on good terms they would have definitely had a borky message or end, because even a very busy person could have scrapped together a short message or signed off on a proposed ending. But Conner mentioned cheese in the epilogue and Monty quickly moved on without any acknowledgement, so that's why I feel it was a falling out.
I liked this campaign but I fell out once he was gone it became much to self important imo but I felt I had to see it thru idk if I'm going to look into the next campaign at this point I'm kinda only listening for Conner anymore because I like him in most things he's in.

I dont think I'll ever get over Borky leaving. I dropped the show when it happened, but had hope he would come back at some point. At least for the finale. But this truly breaks my heart. The reasons dont matter, im just highly dissapointed that I'll never get to know about Borkys part of the story, or why he actually gave up on D&D in the first place.

I admit, at first I didn't like Borky, I was irritated by his antics, but when he grew as a character, and won in that fight pit with Quarion, my respect greatly increased. I was expecting him and the orc tribes to hold down a line in episode 199, that didn't happen, then I was waiting for Borky to say something with everyone else in episode 200. Now in the epilogue at the very end I'm still wondering " What about Borky?!" I'm sad he never came back.

Due to losing multiple family members through December and January, I fell behind. I was still in the Fey wild arc and I wanted to catch up but I kept being unable because I had so much going on that I threw myself into running my construction company and playing Pokémon Arceus as my one game. I literally cut myself off of discord, twitch, and RUclips, so when I finally got myself back on and catching up again, it was the Tuesday just before episode 200 on Wednesday. By the time I caught up to watch episode 200 the epilogue was live. So a rush of going from episode ~180-200 over a week and it all rushing at once, the end really was a metaphorical train hitting my emotions.
Thank you Monty, Connor, Gaijin, Zito, Bosco (and even though hes gone onto other things, Taka too) for all of the fun, the laughs the tears and fears you’ve shared with me on this wondrous (and unexpected) adventure!

And it wasn't just the stream either the discord was also being purged as well. I get it If they had said something to everyone not to use that emote or ask about borky. However that wasn't the case and the mods just (and in my opinion) abused their mod powers without any explanation. I don't buy it that they just ignore Borky because taka left to do other things. Taka was a big part of this series and borky should of gotten some recognition in the last episode. To me it felt disrespectful and it was handled poorly.
This is my feelings on it and I just wish we get an honest answer or a answer that people could understand.

Loved it and so going to miss this hilarious journey. It has been a great run and I will gladly watch through another campaign. If I may, I wanted to give my take on how the final battle would have been and I would like to hear people's thoughts on it as well as their own takes. Don't get me wrong, the final battle was awesome, but we all had ideas on what would happen and here is my idea of it.
Different take on the boss fight with The End (not the mechanic that The End had, no spoilers just encase). They complete their battle, reduce The End's hit points to zero. The realm begins to shake as The End howls in pain, body twitching, and victory is in their grasp. Then, a flash of light, and when it fades, The Unexpectables are on a dark platform above Alivast and the Attic, as the darkness slowly engulfs the Attic and the crystals. Laughter is heard from the End, familiar laughter. Coming out of the High District, comes this black dash that over takes The End, as the solar eclipse grows into a black sun. A familiar voice echoes over the city, "It is good to be back~. And I must say, my old ex-favorite toys are here to greet me~." Devouring The End and achieving a new form is Stillhavity. Stillhavity, "Thought you got rid of me? Thought you saved Orun? Well, you almost did. You see, you lot aren't the only ones with an aspect of that being!" Monty would explain that they can clearly see clerics, paladins, and even Orun Aasimir losing their powers across the city. Stillhavity, echoing across the city, "Guess it is time to stop giving those moronic clergymen the stolen power of Orun! Though, it is because of them that their God is dying! The fool should have just let me kill him! But you lot ruined it! Now, it is time I ruin you!" An encounter happens where the party is overwhelmed as below them, those who had the black tar like substance like Athtar explodes off of them and turns them into monsters, as a few appear on the platform and fights the party. Beaten and broken, the party is left helpless as Stillhavity laughs. Only (perception check and it makes sense for these two to pass) for Remy and Task to turn at the sound of flapping wings. Leading the charge of Silver Dragons is Borky on either Volo or Tarusk, don't know which would be funnier, screaming, Borky, "It's time to get Orky! It's time to get Borky! AHHHH!" Landing, more like falling, Borky lands next to the party and slashes a Stillhavity spawn. With either Remy or Task going at Borky for riding their friend into battle, Borky gives the party a speech to inspire them. With the party feeling their will rise, the Attic and the crystals shine brightly. Lys, "And you shall not do this alone! Alone!" Each one gaining new powers based off of their character development and the one shot sessions. They stand together against Stillhavity and his minions for the final battle.
Their gifts: Borky getting a Legendary Action to have an ally attack an enemy, based off of his accomplishments with the Orc tribes. Due to Lily's victory, Borky gets Totem Warrior's Bear effects with his level with his rage as well as his normal rage bonuses.
Remy, from the Merkz, he gains silver wings for a flight speed. He also gains a combat support ability, while flanking in the air with an ally, he suffers a minus 5 to the roll (so a minus 3 due to flanking), on a hit, both Remy and his ally will deal damage (no sneak attack), on a roll of 19, his ally gets a crit. This is due to his support with the group, always setting them up for victory in combat.
Panic, from Rat's victory, Catharsis gets an axe blade and becomes a 1d8+Charisma+1d4 Thunder damage melee weapon. And from his heritage, Panic can inflict only his enemies with Resin.
Task, from Obby's victory, gains the ability to have a fire dragon breath weapon, with the d6 recharge. And from his connection to Azra Sahar, can attack the same amount as she could in a turn with her extra attack.
And Greckles, from Seika and saving the elemental planes, the Sunblade does increased dice damage and he does 2d6 in fire damage with every attack he makes.
