Home Brewing Is Good
A nice addition if you have the space\money
That is quite true if you have the scratch 🍻
Sweet looking addition and much needed
It's definitely something to behold
Dear Bradley, when do we see a video about you using the hoist? Lifting the grain basket of an B80z I am very curious 😊 Thanks for sharing this product in again an awesome production video! Cheers 🍻
Lol hey I will get one out. I can tell you I have tested it with a very significant load. It did it A lot of people have asked about it. I didn't think it would be a big deal lol
Nicely done Bradley! If I move houses this will definitely be on my shopping list assuming MoreBeer finally starts carrying it. I've already got a ceiling-mounted hoist and besides that initial jerk as it engages with the full grain basket, it's really nice when the B80 is full. I would have liked to see a quick video of how the T-arm thingy hooks into the grain basket ,as that's not obvious to me right now.
Definitely lol I don't know if moving is a good thing or a bad thing. Either way, I hope it works out. Inner further video I will cover that lifting etc. I also plan on covering my full current B80 setup.
Looks nice, but i keep my HLT right next to my BT B80 so i needed a wider table. Ultimately purchased a kobalt table from Lowes. Its super stable and large. My only gripe is how high it is from the ground, wish it was shorter but its perfectly functional.
Id like to find a good mount for the chiller though...
Thanks Bradley for the video!
Thank you
You can definitely add another super short or taller table directly to the side. Of the TROLL as it's a fully modular system. Having said that, it obviously brings the cost up.
Mounting the chiller is the way to go!
@@PortlyGentleman good suggestion, I like the height of the TROLL for sure and you are right, the modularity is helpful albeit extra dollars.
Are you aware of any out of the box mounts for the chiller? I probably could mount it directly to the wooden table top but wouldnt mind something more vertical that takes up less space on my table. Either way, it works pretty good!
I think I've only chimed in once before, but I have questions! First, is it for sale and how much as I couldn't find it for sale online? (I found the manual.) How Much? Would it work for things like the Anvil Foundry and BrewZilla systems to help lift the grain basket? (Wondering about the clearance.) I have a handful of older home brewers who struggle and have even had a question from a disabled gentleman confined to a wheelchair about how to live the grain baskets with pully systems, but this thing looks like a great solution. Plus, I'm not getting any younger, and with one of my health issues, the inability to lift could come sooner rather than later.
My back would appreciate this, 15gallon mash tuns full of wet grains are hard to move.
Lithium grease for the swivel point of the crane
Mine does. That's for sure. It really is nice to use despite what the naysayer say. I don't think you could build one at a stainless steel for the price it's offered..
@@PortlyGentleman oh ya, I remember buying a trim table for wide format printing... 1500 bucks for powdercoated pot steel
🍻🍻
👍🏽 @ Bradley. Probably a silly question, but is the TROLL used in the tutorial tall or short version?
Not at all I don't think I mentioned it. It's the short version
Good video. There was some talk about it being expensive, but I don't know if you put this out before or after their instagram update?
Also, I feel like for the unitank base it would be useful to have the option of a condensation drip tray. Maybe even with a tap to empty it.
It is fully modular you are able to attach other bases or carts Netflix to it
I'm with you 100% there !
Need it!
I know the feeling 🍻
MoreBeer IS selling this now, FYI
Thank you
Does this ship to the USA?
Right now I believe more beer is not carrying it if he reach out to Brewtools they may be able to guide you further. 🍻
Too rich for my blood. After draining my wallet on the B40Pro with some extras, spending $700 for a brew table just wasn't in the cards. So I bought a Ss Brewtech Brew Cube for $199. While it lacks some of the bells and whistles of the Brewtools Troll (funny they would call it that, Lol) the Brew Cube is perfectly functional and meets my needs. I can mount a counter-flow wort chiller to it if I wish.
It's definitely not cheap but man it is pretty good
I would love this one but its way tp expensive for me
I know the feeling. Hopefully they will find a way in the future to make something similar and I'm more affordable price
Way over priced
I do understand it's not cheap, but like I said in the video the cost for the crane is actually extremely competitive. I've got another brewing table in the brewery right now that is smaller but surface area for surface area the value is apparent. Stay tuned!
It definitely isn't cheap, when compared to other offerings it's actually not too far out of line. Having said that, I would have loved to have seen it. I didn't even lower price than it currently is. 🍻
The crane does not seem that overpriced, but the tables seem crazy expensive. I am thinking about getting the crane and rigging it to something cheaper.
