- It's been a little bit since I have gone to a Garfield, NJ Baseball Card Show. In this video, I feature a couple of new dealers Clint and Greg. Both have a healthy inventory of vintage! Additionally, dealers Ron Hoch, Harry O'Reilly and Harry Kolb are also featured. All three provide a very healthy inventory of graded vintage.
I enjoy coming to this baseball card show when I get the opportunity. I also got to hang out with @Rocketrickj18 & @mookiechillson at this baseball card show. It was great to show Rick around for his first time at Garfield.
The Garfield Holiday Baseball Card Show is a must see. I would highly recommend coming out to that one if you live in the area.
There are a number of great vintage baseball card shows coming up like the Philly Show and the White Plains Show! More to come!

Awesome vintage
Thank you!
looks like another great east coast show
Yeah. It's pretty solid. One of the better regional shows.
Nice Sammy. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks buddy!
Hi Sammy. So awesome you got to hang out with Mookie and Rick. I heard Rick`s voice in your video a lot. Always enjoy your filming of great vintage stuff, thanks for sharing my friend. Talk soon pal.
Thanks Stephen. Rick was getting the VIP treatment lol.
Thanks for sharing, Sammy!
Thanks Jake!
Cards without prices is like looking at museum artifacts is the seller looking for move them or just flaunt
I generally favor prices listed as well.
Gave a video like. Looks like you had a nice time at the show. Lots of great cases of cards. Thanks for sharing, Sammy
Thanks Brian. It's a solid show.
Hi Sammy,
Thanks for your coverage of the Garfield show. As usual there was a lot of great vintage cards that caught my eye. I know that I have said this before but your camera work and your pacing are terrific!
Have a great evening and a great week ahead,
Peter
Thanks Peter. I'm really glad that you're always watching the show content. I try and do my best to capture as much as I can.
Always enjoy your videos I usually pass tables that aren’t priced
I hear ya. I generally do as well unless I know the dealer or have had business with the dealer previously.
Hope you had a fun time at the show Sammy!
It was great! Fun to hang out with Mook and Rick!
Some great cards. Thanks for sharing Sammy. One observation I see when I watch these kind of videos, is the fair amount of pre-war. The Mid-Atlantic card show. The one in Silver Spring, Maryland. It has a lot of the 50's, 60's, and 70's, etc. But not much on the pre-war side of things, which is kind of interesting. Not sure why that is. As Maryland, like NJ, is on the east coast. Hmm
Could be just that one show. I haven't been to Chantilly. How are the Pre War cards there?
@@SammyThunder I haven't been to Chantilly in a long time, however, I've watched some of the video footage on RUclips. They seem to have pre-war, but it's a multi day affair. Where as, the Mid-Atlantic is, just that one day. It's a pretty good show for what it is, however, and has grown fairly well considering; the show has, been around 2 years...
Each Mid-Atlantic show has had, new/different vendors, so it is quite possible there will be some pre-war in the future.
Hi Sammy, I always appreciate that you take the time to show us the great vintage cards at these shows.
That 973 area code brought back a lot of New Jersey nostalgia! I'm so old, I remember when Garfield shows were much smaller and more casual. That Mantle decal is incredible! I don't believe I'd ever seen it. All those Bart Starr cards brought a twinge -- he was such a classy guy with horrible health problems in his old age.
That's interesting. Was the Garfield show still promoted by Gary at that time?
If it was Gary S., Hungarian guy, yes. This was the 1990s.
Great video
Thanks Orlando!
Thank you for taking us along to the card show!! Your footage of the cards is awesome!! I wish there were card shows like this near me!! Did you find any treasures for your collection? Appreciate your great content!!
Not this time, but Rick did gift me with a 72 Mays IA and a 91 Score Doc Gooden!
Sammy, I’m jealous of the quality of the card shows near you. St. Louis has a lot of shows, but not with this much quality vintage. Thanks for taking us along with you again.
Ugh.. try living in Canada as a vintage baseball collector.
Thanks Joe. I'm sorry to hear the shows don't produce the same level of quality.
wait!!!!!! did I see a 1964 topps Pete Rose?
Alright man, you gotta stop. This is getting old.
@@SammyThunder OK..I promise to behave
I'm only here for the free food
