I think psychology and mindset matters alot. My shift is 7:30 pm to 4:30 AM. I sleep at 5:30 AM for sure waking up at 12:30 PM. My intermittent fasting window is 8:00 pm to 2:00 pm which means my eating window is 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. I make sure to consume 100 gms protein in 1500 calories, 3 meals. One thing good is during night shift We play table tennis on breaks :) and 1 break like a said for meal. My boss understands my diet regime and he is fine for me taking meal break early.

This shift is still manageable. Most of the distractions are gone after 5 PM. The most dangerous night shift is in CST hours and when converted to Indian time, it comes at worst hours 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM or 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM. That's a shift which kind of takes a major hit on health.

whatever you follow one day you gonna regret it because there are health challenges mostly digestive issues i have been working at night for last 7 years and gut health became so poor because digestive enzymes in our body not that active in night and can't get peaceful sleep like nights have so if there is anyone new who just about to start i would recommend not to do night shifts

3.30am- sandwich, coffee,

9.30 am - 4.30pm : Sleep
5.30pm: Oats, Avocado, Apple, Egg omelette, dry fruits
