I'm not too big on BTS and TXT lore, I've only ever listened to their music sometimes. But how excited you are about the connections is cute lmao it was entertaining for me to watch
I think that thing that keeps the butterfly IS the book. Remember in rough? The book has the pictures of them, meaning the past. Opening it means going back to the past to reminisce their memories. It could also mean that the "book" is the key for them to make out with each other just like how it did in Rough :D
You may also want to watch Memoria. I think it's showing their magic|powers on that MV. SinB being an angel, yerin being a mermaid, eunha with different colored eyes, etc.
Crossroads is somewhat connected to Sunny summer as well like with the electric fan thing, fishes in the jug. I also think it's were Umji is dead because she's being drag then there's colorful blood left behind. (Wild imagination) Hahahaha
In fingertip they also have glass bead thingy.

On 5:09 yerin seems like she committed suicide because then eunha released a butterfly then at 5:19 the place where the butterfly is in is the bathtub yerin’s in... i guess that will save yerin? the butterfly reverse the time. before yerin drown in the bathtub she is crying in the train. so when she close her eye then she is in the train back and now sinb play her character to save yerin because yerin is her bff

Hello I know that this is late but I went back to Crossroads MV after watching your theory and I think.. The blue butterfly is somewhat a 'trigger' or a 'means' for Euhna to time travel. In the beginning of the Crossroads MV, we can see her in contact with the butterfly then after that, she fell and traveled back into time... She then opens the red box containing 3 butterflies which could have possibly meant that she already used one '1' out of her 4 chances to time travel since there's 1 missing butterfly...?
I almost never listen to girl groups but the fact that there might be connection may become the reason for me to watch their mvs .Also can someone explain to me the past connections with gfriend
She already turned back time 3 times, that was why there were 3 butterflies already??????
i think that shows the very first time she turns back time (at the end of fingertip) and then towards the end of the MV, when the room is falling in on her, is when shes using it again (so she's either used 3 or all 4 of her butterflies)

When SinB and Yerin were standing together while the train behind them moving along, I don't know if that was supposed to be the cameraman's reflection or it was supposed to be someone else GOING somewhere ⊙_⊙
I have a theory, the butterfly Eunha uses is in the Wow Thing mv which SinB is in, and I think SinB is dead in Wow Thing, and Eunha is using the butterfly to bring her back to life. I'm still not sure of the relevance of (G)-IDLE and Chungha, but I'm pretty sure Red Velvet has got something to do with it, because the butterfly appears in Psycho, there is a cat with heterochronia in Ice Cream Cake. Also, I think Red Velvet is the witch from Magic Island that curse TXT, because there is a VCR where they are making a potion, and Wendy uses the wicked witch of the west mask on the masked singer, and they make potions again in #CookieJar, and Joy does the witch laugh in Peek a Boo. Also, remember the creative director from SM moved to Bighit a couple months ago? They could have been working together??? Actually reading this back it sounds pretty ridiculous😂

I’m really curious about SinB’s role in this. Yerin sinks below the water in the bathtub, Eunha released a butterfly that lands at the base of the bathtub, we see SinB on a high place searchingly looking for something, then we see SinB pull Yerin from the train. And when they’re all happy around the campfire and running with fireworks, there is a closeup of SinB looking at the scene with a satisfied look on her face, as if she had played some role in bringing it about and was pleased. I don’t know what the butterflies do, but perhaps instead of allowing Eunha to time travel, they are sent as markers to highlight a spot in time and space, that SinB somehow then searches for (from some parallel timeline??) to then effect a rescue. I enjoy your attempts to bridge the GFriend, TXT, and BTS imagery and stories!

The dark glass bead can also reference to the Wings album circle thingy (?) idk how to explain but the ones that appear at the end of each short films. It's like the darker the glass bead gets, it means the conflict that happen between the members are getting worse. In Crossroads, we can see that Yuju and Umji is fighting so the focus of this MV might be the relationship between those two and how Eunha is trying to resolve that.

The butterflies in the case did not mean how many times she went back, it's how many times she has left to go back, so when she began going back in time, there were no butterflies, but everytime she failed and came back to her reality, a butterfly appeared, and it seems like she only has 1 chance left

I have a theory that magic island in txt, is the same of gfriend - love whisper, bts - spring day (because all of then go to the same florest with a train), aaaand the florest to jimin short film - lie from wings and the notes, what do you think about this? xD

In the MV memoria eunha has two different colored eyes
Did you realize the at Yerin in the bathtub full of water was closing her eyes? This may play ode to the fact that Gfriend were granted their powers from the lake, but also in "Fingertip" Yerin's power looks to be the ability to manipulate or use water. This maybe be a stretch, but maybe the reason why she was in the water in the first place could have 2 possible reasons:
1. Yerin commited suicide because of their friendship were all going in astray and she could not handle it. Thus, Eunha uses another butterfly to fix the timeline so that Yerin -and possibly the others- will be brought back to life or their friendship will be saved.
2. Like you mentioned, she was pulled out of the train and their happened to be people riding on the train with her. She was not leaving to go to the island, but actually coming from it. This is why she closes her eyes in the bathtub and submerges herself in the water, possibly getting their by means of her abilities on her own (this scene was closer to the beginning/mid-half of the song).
