I never played a Mayones guitar so far. Probably are very good guitars, I don't know, but, when I see all this expensive technology just for fitting the top to the body wood and all this enormous attention for the aspect of the guitar, I feel I miss these days when few guys made guitars using only a router, not CNC or whatever else. That guys - like Leo Fender, Wayne Charvel, Herbie Gastellum - made history. The legacy they left will never dies.
I only came across Mayones in the past couple of years. I’m concerned for my bank balance - I can see a purchase coming on at some point… 😅 Great video, Alex.

"Finishing, sanding, assembling guitars meticulously made by hand...". I have to admit that I am an old school or old fashion guy, but in 60's or 70's al the process was meticulously made by hand, sir. From the cutting trees to the putting in the hard case.
