He must be like the employ of the month, every month of the year or something. I'm wondering if he has the opportunity to even play Mayones guitars at his own time.
9:58 You forgot the mention about the single most important test all the instruments must go through! Thankfully we managed to see it. Love this video! Great stuff.
We were travelling through Gdansk in 2017 and took the chance to asked if we could come over and have a look. Mateusz and the guys were fantastic giving us a tour of the factory, we were even privileged to see there guitars that were going to be showcased at NAMM guitar show 2018. Our son left with the biggest smile on his face. Great people, great guitars
I knew it! John is player/artist/builder/owner/financial controller/legal advisor/internal audit/marketing manager/logistic executive/stock broker of Mayones!
John Browne is not only extremely good at playing guitar, he's very handy with manual tasks in general apparently :P And Mayones people are not only extremely good at making guitars but have a great sense of humor apparently :D
The first time I saw John, I was like "huh..." the second time: "what is he doing?" the third time onwards I just started chuckling and then the headband scene just killed me xD hahahahaha
The dude head banging in the back is a bad ass!! I always appreciate to see a Plek machine! My Lakland has one of the nicest fretboards because of the Plek job and I’m sure there’s is just as amazing
Check out the latest one from Aristides. Friggin' 30min. tour and build process. Granted it's a very different way of making a guitar but very informative video.
I really like the fun y’all put into this tour. It felt less like a company trying to act superior and more like a walkthrough of what they do here. Good work on this! john browne monuments
I started playing bass a year ago. My uncle is a retired musician and I asked him to borrow me his old bass, since I knew he had one and I couldn't really buy one myself. It spent 8 years on the attic, my uncle had been using it for like good 10 years and he had already bought it used from an orchestra he worked in. So my baby has seen a lot, yet I fell in love with it immediately. It is pretty simple you know and the neck is not really straight anymore and the lacquer is all broken, but I love it and the vintage vibe it has. And just now I am finding out that it came from this factory 😍 back then it was still "Zak" not mayones and it was already quite cheap back when it was new, but for what I read it was the same brand! I used to dream about a fender bass but now my biggest drem is a younger Mayones sister for my current one 💜 Also, I have to go to Gdańsk to at least see this factory!
Everyone is talking about john brown beeing the only employee at mayones while clearly joss allen does the necks at 9:00 making this a general youtuber factory
If something isn't to your liking and you have the qc to make that decision right there. It seems like you guys have more pride in your work then many others. Much
I wish I could afford one of them 7 string Mayones top quality craftsmanship amazing just yeah it would take me years to get one that poplar roasted is beautiful and the burlmaple super gorgeous I wanna be a gutaur builder so bad some how I'm 30 it's kinda late but I still wanna become a master luthier builder shit would be a dream job for sure but I don't know where to start would be so awesome to go and learn everything
Awesome tour of the factory/shop. How many square feet of space does your facility encompass and what is a yearly or maximum production capacity for a place this size?
Does John Browne really work for Mayones? If he was faking it he did some great acting. This also explains where his new Laboga Mr. Hector came from, he stopped in Warclaw to on the way home to get it right from the factory. I recently acquired a Mr. Hector and it’s brutal only thing more brutal was spending 7 years trying to find one in The U.S. they are virtually unknown stateside. Ive always wanted to get a Polish made guitar to compliment the Laboga that i knew i was going to one way or the other get but i have a problem buying a guitar blind specs aren’t enough i need to pick one up and play one im used to my rg 2228 and i do like neck throughs but sometimes they are too baseball bat like. Looks like a trip to Poland is in the future.
Just purchased my First Mayones Duvell elite. Will be delivered tomorrow and i am excited to check it out. If its as good as My Keith merrow km-7 mk-iii Artist at worst ill be very happy! But if it is on par or exceeds my Custom Kiesel Aries 7 ill will fookin die! Time will tell! Can not wait to play it (BTW this Duvelle is a 6 string Elite)
Just throwing this out there... How about "RUclips Subscriber Appreciation Day" where Gear Gods gives a Mayones guitar to each subscriber as a "thanks for all the support"? Come on, we're worth it. We've been good boys and girls. ;-)
The purple-shirted man is literally doing everything in that factory
John Browne lmao
He must be like the employ of the month, every month of the year or something. I'm wondering if he has the opportunity to even play Mayones guitars at his own time.
Including test banging with the unfinished instruments at 9:57 to make sure they feel right while head banging.
@@MikeKampitakis being that he's endorsed and lives in England...yes
yeah he is a very hard labour in that factory😅
John Browne - The Hardest Working Man at Mayones. Not only is he a Mayones artist, but he's also a Master Builder!
Mayones had some Minions ( John Browne ) :D
It‘s not like his guitars were free, you know? They ain‘t gonna pay for themselves.
Bro that was John Browne??😂
Nice to see a random John Browne just browsing through their wood library too.
EDIT: Lol is John Browne working at Mayones? HAHA
It's pretty obvious 95% of Mayones employees are John Browne clones.
My sense of humor ....😂😂🤣🤣
I'd say so. His name is at the end of the description.
Almost all people who work there have long hair Lolo!
Maybe it's just kind of a cameo.
loll John Browne is in every single shot, good one
I loved the head banging shot 😂. Great vid
It took me way too long to realize he was in every shot.
I even wondering Browne is living in Poland not UK.
so that's why your guitars are quite expensive............... you have a shit ton of John Browne clones working on the guitars to perfection!
09:59 - maaaan, the headbang test is the most important step!!!))) XD
9:58 You forgot the mention about the single most important test all the instruments must go through! Thankfully we managed to see it.
Love this video! Great stuff.
The thrash test
looks like some pretty Monumental quality ok i'll leave now
Schweinedarl Hackschwarte sorry to hear that but what were those major flaws man?
9:55
"Is this one headbangable...?"
We were travelling through Gdansk in 2017 and took the chance to asked if we could come over and have a look. Our son left with the biggest smile on his face. Great people, great guitars
Seems like John didn't read all pages of his endorsement 😜😜😜
Without a doubt 🤣🤣🤣
lol
So basically Mayones is a one man company lead by John Browne?
Yes!
Browne is literally one man army-ing your factory. We don't deserve such a fearless man.
I knew it! John is player/artist/builder/owner/financial controller/legal advisor/internal audit/marketing manager/logistic executive/stock broker of Mayones!
We are John Browne, we are legion
John Browne single handedly building every guitar from start to finish lol My man !!!
Am I the only one getting nervous seeing Browne actually doing all that work on guitars? xD
John Browne is not only extremely good at playing guitar, he's very handy with manual tasks in general apparently :P
And Mayones people are not only extremely good at making guitars but have a great sense of humor apparently :D
My the first guitar was Mayones. Bought from garrage in Gdańsk directly from mr Dziewulski in 1985. Nice to see your growing prosperity.
Man literally perfect timing I just got up, and this was uploaded lol.
The first time I saw John, I was like "huh..." the second time: "what is he doing?" the third time onwards I just started chuckling and then the headband scene just killed me xD hahahahaha
Cocobolo and Ziricote slabs are to die for.
Edit: In the end, Browne is like "I think I've done enough to keep this one, right?" :')
"Well Johnny Boy, your contract here states that...." 😅
9:58 the most important test
That was awesome! You should show us more of these factory tours if you can. Really insightful
The dude head banging in the back is a bad ass!! I always appreciate to see a Plek machine! My Lakland has one of the nicest fretboards because of the Plek job and I’m sure there’s is just as amazing
Excellent video.
Appreciate the amount of work you put into it. Thanks.
9:58 most important and final go through of every instrument.
Ordered my Regius 6 lefty.
The waiting is killing me! :D
So instead I'm watching this video every day
has it arrived already?
I just received my first Mayones guitar.....Aquila Cardinal, (Adam Christianson Signature), baritone....beautiful work guys!!
You see that maroon shirt afro guy everywhere? The REAL secret to the quality of Mayones Guitars is how they have a clone army.
So cool to get to see the exact machine on which my Regius was built. Love the guitar, and the video 🔥
I'm crying!! "The guys right now having a break, because thats how usually a production line works"! Only for that sentence I need a mayones. :D
Best factory tour video yet 🤣
Informative and fun!
Check out the latest one from Aristides. Friggin' 30min. tour and build process. Granted it's a very different way of making a guitar but very informative video.

Love how Browne is just potting about haha 🤣
3:54 a wild john browne on his quest to the perfect wood
Man as someone who appreciates stunning woods this video was awesome lol
It’s not the first time I watched this video. But today, I came back to see John Browne fooling around. So funny!
Damn, this is very in depth. Makes me want a Mayones even more.
Thank you. Looks amazing.
Just ordered a lefty hydra elite multiscale 7. These guys have awesome customer service and I cant wait to see the final product.
Djent wars; Attack of the Brownes
Masters of Non-Xistence xd
Hello Gear Gods. May I know when did you shoot this tour. I do believe that the last regius at 13:43 is my unit :)
I started playing bass a year ago. My uncle is a retired musician and I asked him to borrow me his old bass, since I knew he had one and I couldn't really buy one myself. 3:34 ...body once told me
The world is gonna roll me
I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed))
xD
Love the video, but John Browne is the best thing about this tour hahaha
10:56 proces before the LAKIERING haha uśmiałem sie :D
Great video....beautiful instruments. I've never had the opportunity to try one of their basses out. Kinda rare over here in the States.
You should give the boy with the curly hair a wage rise, he does everything in your factory.
Absolutely amazing
WAIT! Isn't he John Browne in the back????
Theme with John B. are awesome :-) Nice English Matt :-) Amazing Factory!
Everyone is talking about john brown beeing the only employee at mayones while clearly joss allen does the necks at 9:00 making this a general youtuber factory
They say John buildes each of his signature models himself
Wow, that dude gets around in your shop!!
If something isn't to your liking and you have the qc to make that decision right there. It seems like you guys have more pride in your work then many others. Much
A part of my music man majesty, no company has ever attracted me to buy guitar more than mayones
Ahaha! Just a normal factory worker in the back, oh wait, that’s John Browne! He works there so casually
I must have at least one Mayones before I die, such amazing instruments.
Verdaderas obras de arte musicales!!!!! Clásicos de Polonia!!!!!
Test bang at 9:57?
I loved the guy who does all the stuff
How many hours of work for a custom shop guitar John Browne?
John in the back just goofing around lol and performance testing the pre production guitars lol
So in fact Patrick was right, mayones it's an instrument.
JB Ripping it on the unfinished axe is the best!
Great ventilation system you have there.
I did a full on dog head tilt once John Browne walked into frame
So that's how John gets to have cool gear.
lmfao the first time I watched this video I did not know John Browne and now I'm cracking up rewatching it
I see videos of high end guitars and I usually could care less. There is something about Mayones for me. I would love to own one.
Director: in how many scenes do you like to be, Browne?
Browne: yes.
So thats how you say their name, I was saying mayonnaise for years.
9:57 Headbanging out of nowhere hahaha XD
I wish I could afford one of them 7 string Mayones top quality craftsmanship amazing just yeah it would take me years to get one that poplar roasted is beautiful and the burlmaple super gorgeous I wanna be a gutaur builder so bad some how I'm 30 it's kinda late but I still wanna become a master luthier builder shit would be a dream job for sure but I don't know where to start would be so awesome to go and learn everything
John Browne Rules :-]
Awesome tour of the factory/shop. How many square feet of space does your facility encompass and what is a yearly or maximum production capacity for a place this size?
Love my Mayones Jabba Custom bass
LMAO I find John Browne is so funny 9:45 Looking for what guitar is good when doing a headbanging shit.

Master Tier John Browne bonus meme 10/10
Does John brown just live at mayones HQ?
He could
this is a guitar company I am very interested in for my next bass guitar.
looks like john is the only worker in that factory😆lol
9:50 Every guitarists dream job.
Does cloning John Browne help keep production cost down?
I don't mean to be rude, but did John hurt his neck? He doesn't seem to move around much...were his vertebrae fused or something?
He is battling with back problem for quite some time now.
I got the John Browne joke just until the end lol
Incredible
9:57 is how they test them for stage performance too.
Is that John Browne?
If so, that's really awesome!
Just throwing this out there... How about "RUclips Subscriber Appreciation Day" where Gear Gods gives a Mayones guitar to each subscriber as a "thanks for all the support"? Come on, we're worth it. We've been good boys and girls. ;-)
I just did the math, and that would cost $450 million dollars hahahahahahahaha
Too much work ?
