Hey man ! So I have a g37 with muffler & vibrant reasonators ! I don’t know to much bout cars but if I was to put this Y pipe on or a Z1 y pipe, are they still able to keep my reasonators on ?
@@karlonarcher7918 thank you so much! You think it’ll make a louder noise if I was to do this ? Cuz I just have a muffler delete with vibrant performance reasonators
Hey bro, just take your cats off and sell them cause they will both go for 300+350 a peice and then buy some test pipes or HFC (high flow cats) and after that get the Z1 Y pipe and a nice motorrdyne exhaust. Or you can just muffler delete the back and put bigger pipes then do the y pipe, then test pipes, and then short tube headers or you can get long tube headers, the Z1 Y pipe and then just have them fab you a exhaust for everything after the Y pipe But for sure get long tube headers and Y pipe. Or get test pipes and sell you stock cats for 600-700 use 200$ from that for the test pipes and then the y pipe and still have money left over..
Or just go all-out sell your catalytic converters get long tube headers and a full motordyne cat back exhaust and call it a day, then you'll be sounding as good as they come..
After I cut it off then I disconnect the other side that’s and the downpipe and then I just lift the pipe up and down and side to side and it comes off… and If you got any other question let me know have a good one
Hey brother i was wonder, why you use the grinder. Is it to grind off the spot weld ? And can it be done with out the grinder ?
Its no weld and there it’s because the nuts and there was rusty and I couldn’t get it off no other way so I grind it off
Thanks for the video!
No problem thanks for ur feedback have a good one 🙏🏾

Yes if you change the Y pipe you can keep the resonators because it a different piece of pipe

And you can buy a nice MagnaFlow resonator to put between them.

I have a aftermarket y pipe do you think it will fit on a g35?
Yea if you got the same g35 like mine and you got it for that one even the g37 can fit but the older g35 can’t fit on the newer one how that helps
Did u have to buy any new gaskets or did u use the ones u already had
When I buy the new pipe it comes with gaskets
How did you get it out after you angle grinder the bolt, did you have to drill a hole or use like a crowbar
After I cut it off then I disconnect the other side that’s and the downpipe and then I just lift the pipe up and down and side to side and it comes off… and If you got any other question let me know have a good one
@@karlonarcher7918 yea I just finished grinding it and it just came off after wiggling it I just though it would be stuck lol
