First off all a nice peek to install the multi media system. But I saw you did the cables at the back off your car outside. Think it was a better idea to keep them inside. Then have less chanches of cause waterdamge.
Thanks for the video, it's rare to see one for i10. How did u fix the rear camera on the lights for the car plate? Did u screw the camera mounting on the car plate? Or did u use a double sided tape?
The camera I fitted (can be seen at about 4 minutes in) actually replaces one the registration plate light fittings. When fitting you remove the current one and disconnect the light, fit the new one with the camera and refit the light.
So how did you make the rear camera work? Did you have to cut the wire and solder it to the camera?

I can't be sure. The stereo simply runs as a Bluetooth slave so in theory it should be absolutely fine.

Yeah, that exact model is no longer available as it was a while ago now. Something similar is below. It has a slightly different housing but will still fit.

hello does the light in the Buttons is blue? our you can set the color that you want? because my I10 is from 2010 so it lights up green. TIA.
They are blue and unfortunately can't be changed. To be honest it's only the volume and tune dials anyway

Are these after market head units plug and play, with regards to the wiring from the old head unit to the new? Or do I need to do some soldering or buy a new wiring loom?

Did you need to pay for the DHL delivery like in tax?
And if you choose otherewise how long will that take?
How does the device work for you? Like in todays life.

I didn't actually leave a review. Should have done really. Didn't have to pay any tax on the delivery and it was sent by DHL. I think nowadays when sending items from China the sender sorts the tax out on their side first. The stero is work really well. Been in now for over 6 months without a hitch. Probably did spend about an hour at first getting it all configured. You definitely need to set the clock to automatically update over GPS otherwise it does keep very good time. Why it's not a default I'll never know.
Not sure on the non DHL delivery time. I know standard China Mail takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks and I don't think the insurance is very good incase it goes missing.
Music Villian. Thanks for the feedback on the video. It really was a case of not being able to find any info on installing one of these that prompted me to film it, just incase it would help anyone else out in the future!

@@MissSyd111 quite a few still on AliExpress. Bezel looks slightly different but it would still fit.

What happens with the Aux cable situation since the socket has now been lost...?
Hi Billy, sorry, not sure what you are asking. Can you add something further to your question and I'll do my best to answer.
@@thebushyone Look at your original radio. The Aux socket is on the bottom left. New unit doesn't have an Aux socket, so where can you plug in?
I don't actually know. I only used the aux on the old stereo for a Bluetooth connection and as the new stereo had it built in I never needed it again. I'll see if I can find the spare leads that plug in the back and see if I can see one.
Check the spare looms in the box and I couldn't find an aux port. Looks like it's not been included in the design.
I’m asking about the old radio that you removed is it available or for sale because I have same model of car and my radio was crashed so can I have the old one?
