Beautiful run. Have stopped in Hartley many times, such a beautiful area.
I often run from Kitimat, fishing Campania, Aristazabal, Milbanke, Shearwater, Hakai and Rivers. Can’t wait for Hogust! 🎣

Horseflies bites are miserable. Gas availability and moorage space are two of my biggest concerns. You lucked out twice this leg.

I had enough gas to get from Hartley Bay to Shearwater. But at 7knots and 2 days of travel. It would have been slow going... Bought us a days travel!

Great videos! What do you think about trying a Sharrow propeller?

Too expensive for what they deliver. I've looked at the Sharrow. It's $5k for the prop. I've got a 5 blade prototype I'm running currently and have been very happy with it. Improved MPG that's close to what the Sharrow can do.

at first I was wondering if that gas was ok.... then i realized that pretty much every gas station in the country has buried tanks that don't look too nice if you dig them up.
also- I see you fly Canadian flag as a courtesy- do you also fly American flag? I saw an American flag on another boat- is that a faux paux?

I always have the US Flag flying from the stern, which is the senior most position to fly a flag on the R27-OB. The mast is where I fly the Canadian flag as a courtesy.
