@@jimtheyid Yes, it does seem more focused on survival rather than casual gameplay from the base game's main story. Maybe that's why they separated it with different playable characters? I also don't know yet if this mode has some sort of story built as the days passes or not. Hopefully it all still going to be fun though.
@@jimtheyid This free update, New Game Plus for the main story, and Neighborhood Watch mode with a new location, is releasing on October 22nd. It is available for everyone, even those who only bought the base game. Additionally, the Neighborhood Watch mode can also be played solo.

I beat this and the dlc's with Dani and Amy and I'm currently playing it again as Jacob. I'm addicted to this game.
They should just take us back to the resort map

@@NathanBossMan25 The teaser leans to a horde mode with its own new map. However, it might be very small considering how the tower defense mode plays.
