I had the same problem to. It eventually stopped working completely. They were pretty good at responding to my email and have organised a new one. Unfortunately it will likely take a month to arrive so what do I do in the mean time?
my brush stops rotating when I move to carpet . Working fine on tiles. Not sure what is the issue. Manufacture date 11/2020. this happened after very minimal use.
I have the same problem so I complained to HQ. This is their response. Maggie (DreameTech) Feb 9, 2022, 17:11 GMT+8 Dear customer,
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please kindly note that the smart all-surface brush is designed to be much more tightly sealed than other brands’, in order to be compatible with the hard floor and the carpet. The smart all surface brush may stop intermittenly when used on some carpets, but this is not a quality issue. It is not recommended to use the turbo mode on carpets, because when using the turbo mode, the strong suction may cause the greater resistance between the brush and the carpet. In this situation we recommend that you can use the eco mode to clean. If there are areas that are difficult to clean, you can try multiple sweeps to resolve this problem.
Thank you for your feedback and support.
Friendly remind, For the suction mode, it is recommended to use Eco mode for daily cleaning, which can fully meet your daily cleaning needs. If some parts of the floor are very dirty, you can use Eco mode to multiple clean it or switch to Turbo mode to clean. When removing mites or there is too much dust, it is recommended to use Med mode.
I don't know exactly, but the seller knows about this error. It's just a problem of bad cables in the brush. The problem can be easily fixed. Otherwise it is a very good vacuum cleaner.
@@cooltoolfixer2566 thanks for video. Yes I know, but I waiting for refund because vacuum cleaner was a little bit expensive. I had the brush disassembled but I didn't see any problem. No cable breakage. Visible cables were fine, but there are also hidden cables too. My unprofessional repair could damage the brush...
@@martinchalani6068 Hi, the cables may looks good but are broken inside. My case was described in the video above and the cables were "cut". I think the main reason of this problem is that the cables are too short and should be more flexible. I hope that Dreame will solve this and new brushes will be ok.
@@cooltoolfixer2566 I tried to fix it. I replaced all the cables with new ones. Longer and more flexible. The problem is still the same. How is it possible...?
Solution: look at the contacts in the tube, they dont have enough contact to the brush pins. Open the connections at the tube carefully and repositioning them worked for me.
Yes I have the same problem. The new smart brush came to me but the problem was not solved. This is caused by poor contacts on the tube. However, I do not know how to solve this problem. I tried, but the disassembly is too fragile. A video tutorial would help.
@@martinchalani6068 Remove two screws and try to get the housing off. There is a clip inside that holds the housing. You need to push that clip and pull the housing down towards the other side of the tube. It's quite difficult but wenn you have it off you can easily access those contacts. There is a wire wrapped around a screw which is connected to one contact. This wire is a bit to short. Unwrap the wire from the screw bend it a bit put the conatct in place and secure the screw again. Put back the housing and secure it with the two screws. Did this last week and now the brush doesnt stop anymore.

I heard that this problem with brush has been fixed in new supplies? what is the production date as mentioned on the box? 12/2020?
I'm sorry, I destroyed the box. But I found out that my old smart brush was fine too. The problem is bad contacts in the tube.
