  • Just to show you how quick my commute is. Moving to the UK and working with the NHS have been two of the best decisions I've made in my life.
    This short distance saves me a LOT of money every month.

    Aww, thank you for posting this. So nice to see Yeovil again, I haven't visited in a good ten years now.. I may be mistaken, but it looks like your accommodation is on the road my grandmother grew up on (and where she met my grandfather before he whisked her up here to Nottingham). Still think of the hospital as "Aunty Jen's hospital" as she was a medical secretary there while I was little (and was actually my mothers' cousin, not my aunty). Yeovil is such a wonderfully walkable town. You did well to find a place there.

      Perpetual Help Placement po if you're from the Philippines. Or you can check the hospital's website and apply from there (yeovilhospital.co.uk/jobs/international-nursing-overseas-recruitment/international-nursing-recruitment/)

    Would you say Yeovil is a safe place for immigrants based on your stay there ? I researched about it and google said it was a dangerous town. Pls help

      As of writing, I've been here for 4 months now and I've never been harassed or discriminated. I also have work mates who are immigrants and they've called Yeovil home for the past 10 years or more. You may have based your research on Somerset and this year alone but consider also the types of crime recorded. Sure, petty crimes exist but compared to other places in other counties, Yeovil is wayyyyy safer.

      Overall Yeovil is very very safe - I lived there twice for a total of ~25 years and never had a problem. There is some criminal activity, which is why it ranks poorly for crime, but 99.999% of the time it doesn't affect people not involved in crime/drugs so it is actually not that bad at all.

      Hey Alexx B! Bale Yeovil District Hospital po and it's in Yeovil, Somerset. San po ba kayo allocated? Marami kasing hawak na hospital ang Yeovil Recruitment. Anyhow, goodluck on your journey!

    Hi Bro, Good Video 👍
    How about the Yeovil? Is it an expensive place to live?? Is there any good schools near by YDH?? Please reply 🙏

      Hi there! I won't say expensive, but it really depends on how frugal you are. For example, me and my wife spends 150 for groceries and house supplies monthly. There are lots of schools and some are within a few minute walk from the staff house and hospital.

    Hi Jet! Allowed ba ang dependents tumira sa hospital accomodation? And may mga opportunities po ba sa mga non nurses na dependent?

    • @JetfromRecovery
      @JetfromRecovery  2 года назад +1

      Opo. I share my room with my wife. If with kids, magpprovide po sila ng 2 bed unit or hahanapan kayo ng ibang flat. May mga jobs po for dependents, altho mas common nakikita ko either sa nursing home or hca sa ydh.

      Meron po depende sa background. Yung husband ng cohort ko nasa IT dept, ung iba HCA, ung iba nagwork sa cafeteria.
