- Since the day it was first announced, i was most excited to try out Geometry Dash 2.2s new PARTICLE EDITOR, which I always thought would have insane potential, and as it turns out, I WAS SO RIGHT.
So in this quick little video, I wanted to play around with the particle trigger, and i ended up making something REALLY sick on accident. Hope you enjoy!!!

i made a “black hole” of sorts using *just* the particle editor. (6 objects and it looks pretty cool)
Make it in the 2.1 gdps
people find ways to animate random specks of dust in late 2.1 but I'm happy there is so much more. levels like ocular miracle could do with some optimization using these particles

You should try maxing every single value in sliders, it ends up so insane
2.2 is actually incredible. worth the wait.

going around youtube and watching these particle experiments is just insane, seeing what's possible

I am one of those lazy creators that makes rateworthy levels, so sadly I won’t be using much particles, but I might spend more time on it at one point
Particles are an easy way to decorate, it's low effort and high yield if you understand it a bit.
Something I found cool about the fps feature; I have my Nvidia overlay to display my fps, and when changing the ingame fps to 240, the overlay shows me getting 240fps! Usually it says 60fps, as I'm on a 60hz screen, and I'd expect it to keep saying 60fps but it doesn't!
How is that shocking? Thats what its supposed to do
@bytelaw1711 Because.. Im on a 60hz screen? And a 3rd party app that always shows me getting 60fps or lower.. is showing me getting 240

@bytelaw1711 The "max fps" on a 60hz screen should always be 60, so when Im being told by my gpu's control panel that I am getting 240fps it surprises me; why is that hard to understand? Why are you questioning the things that I find interesting and surprising? What do you get out of it?
