I’m planning to buy one just to put the Defenser onto the Revive. I’ve build the standard 2003 Mk-2 and didn’t enjoy the kit in the slightest so I’d rather take the hit for the backpack
I have a semi-related question Kakarot. I am somewhat new to Gundam, i've been into it for about a year. I got my first models last summer, after watching part of Gundam Wing. After getting about halfway through that (I thought it was fairly good, but then the videos were taken down off of youtube), I found Build Fighters. That show really ignited my love for Gundam, and I burned through that and Build Fighters Try. Then I started looking for other shows. I binge watched Reconguista in G in 5 or so days, and have since also watched Unicorn. I'm not sure what series to what next, so since you are my senior in the Gundam fanbase, I was wondering if you could give me any suggestions for what shows are good and/or which ones to avoid. Thank you as always for your time!
+ARC command Hmm watch Zeta Gundam. The OVAs are nice too, like 08th MS Team and Stardust Memories. These two show more of the grunt mobile suits aka, non-hero. Then watch Char's Counterattack. The rest is up to you. For some, the original/first Gundam series can be abit put off as it hasn't aged well haha. And you should watch Unicorn last haha
love this kit. The only really bad thing about this kit are the atrocious nub marks, especially on the G-Defenser. Bit of warning for those who are going to buy this kit: If you want to make this kit look real good, you better have some pretty good nub mark-removing skills. Other than this, this kit is just plain awesome.
The Master Grade of this mobile suit are unable to support the G Defensor as it will lean back. I have to put my G Defensor on my Mk-II ver 2. I may be the problem is with my Mk-II.
Dude you lost me with the Super Materia. I seriously like Frame Arms Girls ever since the anime came out in 2018, and it makes me wonder how she would use a G-Defenser her style.
Yes, it does, but there's so much old engineering on it that doesn't go well with the Mk-II Ver.2.0, as compared to the HGUC version. For instance, wing stickers are almost a complete no-no on current MG kits; an updated version of the MG G-Defenser would have separate white and blue pieces.

@@justinmcgeorge2741 it's kinda bad condition for Barbatos cause he can't fly under gravity for long when super Gundam can. But at same time the beam attack have a little effect to Barbatos. So it's a fight of gamble. If Super Gundam can stay still out of the reach of Barbatos and wear his armor out it's Super Gundam win. If Barbatos somehow can get closer and combat Super Gundam at CC then it's Barbatos win. I mean in term of raw strength on CC IBO MS Gundam frame is one of strongest. They can rip alot MS piece by piece with a strength alone and barehanded. And only few MS can do that in Gundam series. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
respectfully disagree with your recommendation of the Super Gundam, the RG Gundam Mk. II AEUG is where it's at for 1/144 Gundam Mk. II kits. articulation is much better, quality is much better, the weapons that you do get are a lot more refined and while it does kinda suck that it isn't compatible with the G-Defenser of this Super Gundam kit, the base model is so many times more refined than the base model of this SUper Gundam.

The 1.0 can't support the g-defenser. That's why the 2.0 has that hole in the back

It's a bit too late for them now, as the MG Mk-II Ver.2.0 was released in 2005. Unless they decide to make a Ver.3.0.
A Mark II 3.0 would be awesome. Can't wait for that. Would probably look a lot like the RG version.
