As a long time Kenshi player I can confirm the Kung fu Master is 100% vanilla. Martial arts are dangerous to train, but a high level MA can solo everything in the game.
There is no high quite like your first time successfully training a character to 100 strength, endurance, and martial arts. Nothing like walking up to a Samurai General in a fight, dodging and weaving around the enemy group's swings, and palm thrusting his sword arm off. Or walking into the Black Dragon stronghold and roundhouse kicking two people into five pieces with one blow.
Yup. The part of the training where you say "yes, I would like to try to punch the man swinging a sword as fast as I punch while I don't have a way of effectively blocking it".

My first experience with the holy nation was with a nonhuman companion and a guard sprints over to me to say "hey friend we noticed your friend is a devil and we need to reeducate them. Can you please hand them over without a fuss? No? That's fine. We'll just enslave you both".
@@genericscottishchannel1603 If I remember correctly, the options were something along the lines of agree and hand over friend, agree but ask for compensation, attempt to bribe or adamantly refuse. I chose refuse and the whole town rushed us. I went down first and while my friend was being beaten, a homeless guy came over and kicked my unconscious body then took what little money I had. I fought valiantly but swords beat rusty pipe apparently.

Great vid as always renegades, If you're curious what inspired sseth's end scene with the patreon list, the song is from a game called 'godhand' and the martial artist design is based of the games main character. Sseth made a video on it and i highly recommend you react to it, both the video and game itself are comedic masterpieces.
It's a game that seems overwhelming at first, but is easy to pick up after a few minutes messing with it. It's quite fun after that, though it very much relies on you making your own fun. There is no endgame or quest line to follow, you invent your own story as you experience and interact with the world and it continues until you get bored with it or all of your characters have died. Save often, use mods, exploit where and what you can, and don't sweat losing a limb or getting enslaved or getting robbed. Role with it, embrace it. So long as your character still lives they can work their way back up out of any hole and it's honestly the best part of the game. You will always get a unique and entertaining experience out of a game of Kenshi.
I've read theories that shek are descended from genetically engineered soldiers and the Hivers are biological robots. There's very little information on this in game though.
the Hiver queens are genetically modified cyborgs that process biological material into new hivers, and sheks were an enforcer class genetically modified by the skeletons in order to infiltrate the early Okranite cults during the second empire
Kenshi is one of the game that no matter how many times I upgrade my PC, it was always there on my play list, I keep finding myself coming back to that game over and over again. I played a lot of games but Kenshi, Rimworld, Project Zomboid, Bannerlord, and StarSector are games that will always be the best game for me. I played a lot of Openworld games but nothing could compare Kenshi to that. This sounds bias but that is my honest experience. Also I can't find any game that feels like Kenshi to be honest.

Tbf the first time I played Kenshi I hated it, I had no clue what I was doing and gave up. I came back to it a month later and loved it.
