So happy you’re doing a series for fine, thin, hair without using extensions. So many people do these, and use extensions, which defeats the purpose for most every day women.
I do occasionally use extensions but they get on my nerves after a while. No way I could wear them every day! So pleased you’re enjoying my tutorials 🥰
I love this series. I watch so many styling tutorials but nearly all the models have really ‘good’ hair. Mind you, I’m sure those with very thick hair will say it’s just as difficult as very fine hair! I think I started with lots of fine hair but it’s definitely got thinner after having children (and presumably, with age). When you’re younger, you think getting older is just about wrinkles, but honestly, lines are the least of my problems! 🤣 x
I can't thank you enough for this series. It's so difficult to find realistic and flattering styles for fine hair. Your videos are the best I've seen, and I genuinely can't wait to start practicing.
Thankyou so much! I’ve never considered doing tutorials with my own hair…then I realised that so many people have fine/thin hair like me! So glad you’re finding them useful 🥰
This is fantastic! I dread dealing with the sides because they’re SO THIN, but I will 100% be using this ideas! Thank you so much, have a wonderful & Blessed weekend 🤗💜🙏🏻!
Root coverup powder can be too obvious right around the front hairline unless you have bangs (use sparingly!), but I find it's a great way to make your part (or other areas where you tend to get gaps) look thicker. Great video!
I've followed you for years and I'm so so pleased you're doing these. I purposefully look for the new ones you put up on fine hair. Thank you for taking the time to do these. Us girlie's with fine/thin hair do struggle!
Thank you so much for sharing all the little tips that you use and things to think about when working with thin, fine hair. My poor hair has always been so fine and thin and it is very tricky to try and pull off pretty much any hairstyle! Great ideas here - please keep doing more!
You are amazing! Thank you for your high bun tutorial! Can’t wait to try it later today. I have been a year without extensions and getting my hair healthy has been a struggle, these videos give me hope!
This is beautiful. i've always wanted to have this look but have never quite figured out how to do it with my hair which is exactly the same texture as yours with patches at the front! THANK YOU!
'Don't like to use pins because I feel they will just fall out, . Story of my life 😅😂 Thank you for another great video about fine/thin hair. I'm getting excited about doing my own hair again
Yeh I definitely got out of the habit of doing my own hair once it got thinner. I’m actually enjoying styling it again now…so pleased you like the tutorials ❤️
Y’all!! Add castor oil to your shampoo, 4-6 drops. It changed my hair and my life!! I’m a 30 year hairdresser and castor oil will change the texture of your hair and add density and style memory due to balance of moisture. You’ll notice in 2 weeks if you wash a couple times a week
I am a new subscriber as a result of your fine hair series showing up in my recommended videos. So, thanks for that. So, here is my question: I'm not sure if this is because I have fine hair or because I have straight hair but heat styling does not hold. Ever. One nice breeze and my hair is back to straight or, if I've used product, a straight tangled nightmare. BUT cold styling aka overnight rollers, robe belt, pin curls etc... work every single time. And lasts more than one day (always a looser version but still beachy looking). Here's my question: How the heck do you get volume at the root with heatless curls? I am partial to my curls starting at the root rather than halfway down my hair as it always makes me look like I have a ton of hair. But at the root, I can't seem to curl it, twist it, braid it (depending on the heatless technique I'm using) in a way that gives me actual lift. Help.
Parting your hair in the opposite way from which you usually do is the only way I have heard of for heatless volume at the roots, hope you get more styling tricks though.
Ok, so you need to get the rope higher up. One way is to do 2 rows…so one higher up the head and one lower down towards the neck. You could also use a little root boost powder at the root once you’ve taken it out for extra volume ❤️
