    Great solution! So glad that you demonstrate the technique on truly thin hair. (Most stylists use a mannequin or some gorgeous model with perfectly thick hair.) My hair is past my shoulders and I like to wear hairstyles like this but my hair never looks full enough. After cancer treatments not all of my hair grew back and the fine hair around my face has a mind of its own. I think that this style will work! Thank you so much! BTW, your nails are so pretty!

    Thanks for all the new tips and tricks. I've always had very fine thin hair I had scarlet fever as child my hair doesn't really grow. I've been using hair pieces and clip in hair for about 3 years. I bought so many different kind of hair I could never get the weft clips hidden enough to wear them, but thanks to you I might have a use for them. TY

    Soooo happy you are doing these self styles and discussing thinning hair. This is a super cute style! 💗 I’m almost 47 and my hair is starting to thin more and more over the past year and a half. I’ve always had thin hair but a lot of it. It used to take all day to dry as I never use a hair dryer. Now it drys in half the time and I’ve noticed more hair-fall when I wash it, always thought it was because I wear it in a pony just about everyday…but It is hormonal. I’ve been working with my doctor to get my hormones under control.

    We have a ton of hair in my family. My mom and sisters and I have curly hair and lots of it. I've noticed since having kids and getting older I've definitely lost hair but it's still not what I would call thin. Still these videos are really helpful for me. Not only do they help me see how to do my own hair but I can help a friend with fine hair. 😁💖💖💖

    Thank you for sharing this braid hairstyles for thin hair!! I love this look. You make it look so easy to do, but I will definitely try this out. I'm in my late 30's and I have noticed my hair getting thinner over the past few years due to age and stress. I take a collagen supplement and it's been helping with my thin hair. As always thanks for sharing your hair style tips. Have a wonderful day.

    My hair has been trashed by peri menopause, loads of the length broke off at the front and became super fragile, whereas before it was bomb proof. Just started getting length and some volume back and smash another round of crazy hormone roller coaster and it's back to super thin and damaged! Poor hair, wouldn't mind but all I do is use a hair dryer on it, no colour or heated styling products direct onto the hair. Love the pony braid, that might actually stay in at the gym when nothing else does!

      @@SweetHeartsHair it does suck! Mind you maybe it is getting me back for everything I put it through in my 20a and 30s, lol. I really hate that the straggly looking bits are at the front, though if course it makes sense as I put it up for the gym, doing my best though! Xx

    This method seems so much easier than "braiding" one ponytail at a time, so you can make sure the sides look okay and they are evenly spaced before you do all the actual "braid" work on it. Maybe this makes more sense to an actual hairstylist, but I'm always told I have fine hair but a lot of it. ? 😁 I consider it very thin - thyroid issues are the main cause for me, I think. But I don't think aging/hormones have helped at all either.

    Thank you so much for this. Your hair is so similar to mine and I never see hairstyles for this kind of thin hair. Mine has always been thin, then I had an emergency surgery where i lost part of my stomach. Between the stress of that and the loss of nutrients because I eat so much less, I have such fine hair. I'm looking into the Voloom styling tool, have you tried it?

Ahh those were the days. Now im 38 and genetics kicked in( hair thinning runs in my mom side of family). 😭I have been using womans rogaine and it stopped fall out completely and starting 2 grow back in places i lost a lot which was around the circumference of my face. Love this thin hair tutorials!😃 My hair is getting thinner at the front and on top off my head. That means that I can't have a middle part because it's looks like a bolt spot. It started after I gave birth to my second daughter. So maybe it's a hormone change 😳 My daughter is almost 3 now so I think I'll have to make the best off it😬

    Looks good on you. I couldn't do it, hair elastics are kiss of death for me, I think my hair is weirdly attracted to them.
    My hair was always horribly thin, then I had chemo so that had the obvious effect. I was lucky in that it grew back but now I baby it to an insane level to try and retain as much as possible at all times. I only pin it up with either ribbon or pins, no elastics. Never heat dry it, curl it straighten it, never put in any product etc. It's a bit better than it was before o was ill as I used to wash it every day and it turns out that didn't suit. I've switched to a natural shampoo and conditioner with far fewer ingredients which seem better too and only wash it twice a week.
    It wouldn't be suitable for a smart job but in my industry it fortunately doesn't matter, and as no one wants to live with me I'll take advantage of one of the few perks of living alone-it doesn't matter what I look like cos no one cares!
    So pleased to see thin hair tutorials. Not sure I've got quite this much but you do give me some ideas.

  • @Haikuhiaku

    I LOVE the look of these, but pull through braids kill my waist length hair. I can't use the bands in it without watching my hair break and tangle. I have tried breaking the bands, but I still lose more hair than i am willing to. I have also tried the citrus oil to break the band, but it gets oil in my hair and it isn't practical. Wish there was something that could give this look without the elastics. Looks gorgeous!

    Nice but my hair is down to my waist, I’m a hairdresser, 70 years old. Bangs have helped a lot with thinner hair now, but I don’t use products except for natural, and I do not use rubber bands in my hair at all. Never did. They break your hair so bad over time. I would never put those rubber bands in my hair. The most I have learned from everything you’ve done is pulling my hair out to bring more volume. I just started using a dry shampoo for my bangs because washing my hair every day at this length , and still no gray, and now a light brown natural color, is nearly impossible at this length. My favorite shampoo is tweak’d by nature. I get it online. I must say that is my favorite. When my hair was thicker I had to keep it cut because of headaches but there is something to be said for thinner hair LOL

    • @tabbyh8136
      @tabbyh8136 2 года назад +3

      What do you use to tie your hair back? I am aware that hair bands I used to put my hair up at the gym have contributed to it breaking. Trying to avoid that issue now, but soo hot when working out I have to put it up and out of the way!
