    Nice trees. So with the washer, would the roots form on top of it? I can see the start of the root flair on on of the maples. BTW, where do you get your pumice?

      I’m puzzled by this too. They need to be buried so roots form there. Maybe theres an advantage to not burying right away? I’m doing something similar with a zelkova except I used a burned Warren Zevon cd. 2 seasons, ill check spring 24 😅
