Would love to fly Sydney to Rarotonga Cook Islands direct on this plane. I have not been there for 20 years. You had to go Melbourne to Auckland then onto the Cooks. I got a 747-400 of Air New Zealand in 2001.

Excellent review thanks! I've only managed to have one flight on an A321NEO and that was in 2021. In 2020 I was all booked on a A321NEO flight that never happened because of the first COVID lock down. As you say it is really difficult to find a A321 domestic flight because A320s & 737s are used so much. On my A321 flight I booked a seat right down the back, & seated there it does look and feel like a bigger plane.
I tell you what today was the second time that I have been on this plane up the back but the sound of the plane when it moves is so good but the only downside of this aircraft is the rear toilets are soo small but that’s because I’m tall lol.
JQ will be replacing the B787 with these for their trips to Bali & Singapore which IMO is a horrible decision. A 29" seat pitch puts this as an uncomfortable flight and for me at 6'3, makes JQ impossible to fly on unless I pay for an emergency row seat.
I recently flew this aircraft from Denpasar to Melbourne. There is no entertainment what’s so ever on this plane. It’s a nice aircraft but on long flights it’s tight and not a pleasant trip sadly ! JQ downgraded the aircraft
I’m thinking of booking from Perth to Bangkok . Is it recommended ? I just want a comfortable airline as I’m afraid it’s going to be torturing for 6 hrs 50mins

Domestically, JetStar and Qantas will start using the A220 more frequently as they come into service. Also a very comfortable plane with a 3+2 layout.

The engine is so quiet! The last time I flew with jestar (11 weeks ago) the engine was so loud lol

You should try flying CX - Cathay Pacific Airways for International flights
